Creator's Pack/Music Pack
Archive: 6 posts
We did get the creator's pack in LBP1 as well as the music pack. However, should they have a new creator's pack or music pack? It would sound nice. Here's what I'll like in the future: Costume Sensor Emotion Sensor Shield (enhancement) 3-D layers (no glitch, but programmed) Material changer (play mode) A new music pack should also include new sequencer instruments. | 2012-03-25 22:56:00 Author: Apple2012 ![]() Posts: 1408 |
The only one I could see implemented without any issues is the emotion sensor... I would have extended that to the costume sensor... but could foresee problems with people not owning DLC. Also more music and instruments is always beneficial... but some examples (considering this is a suggestion board) would have been nice everything else is simply not needed and in some cases (official 3d layers) could justify an entirely new game as modifying the current game would be too much effort for a creator kit. | 2012-03-26 01:25:00 Author: ForgottenEnigma ![]() Posts: 1414 |

You are right on the costume sensor. Not everybody has DLC, especially the spacesuit costume (which should've never been made unavailable). However, the costume sensor should allow no costume at all (sackboy costume). Here's what the costume sensor does: Required costumes: If you have any costume piece on that is required by the sensor, you can activate the sensor. Forbidden costumes: If you have any costume piece on that is forbidden by the sensor, the sensor won't activate. Allow stickers/decorations: This option can be adjusted whether you are tolerant of stickers on costumes or not. If not allowed, the sensor won't be active with stickers on any costume, so it would convince the emo kids to have something else. Require all: If this option is turned off, then at least one sackperson should have the costume. If this option is turned on, all sackpersons should have at least one costume piece required by the sensor or have no costume. | 2012-03-26 02:18:00 Author: Apple2012 ![]() Posts: 1408 |
I could see costume sensors being used in levels that use sackbots. You could have different characters, and only one character is allowed to enter a certain area, though this can already be accomplished with tags. An emotion sensor would be kinda cool, but I really don't see what it could be used for, but thats just me. | 2012-03-28 20:53:00 Author: DreJ1212 ![]() Posts: 240 |

I like the costume sensor idea. Also, I hope they'll eventually release the new tools in LBP vita as a creator kit II of sorts for lbp2, except for (obviously) the touch tools. The sticker remover thing in particular for levels with lots of paintball gun use would be especially useful. So would the memorizer. I'd spend 5 bucks for even just those two. | 2012-03-29 22:00:00 Author: Eanikran ![]() Posts: 79 |
