Lately I've been brainstorming a minecraft-style level. I want to make it so you can collect materials to use later, and possibly craft simple objects such as doors and torches. I want to be able to make blocks that you've collected be emitted on a grid, but I don't know how to make the blocks be emitted on a grid without too much thermometer consumption (so probably not a microchip on every big grid square with an emitter for each type of block ) so that is my major problem. I'd love to see this become a real project.

Sounds fun, im addicted to Minecraft right now playing on the LBPC Server so this sounds good, looking forward to playing it if it comes out

Yeah, I'm hoping to get started on the actual level soon. I need to make all of the blocks, but I have to make sure that I'm going to have the blocks be placeable after collection first to know what the logic needs to be.
