LBP2Blog is shutting down. Permanently.

Yep, you heard it right. Permanently.

Just thought I should post it here, because this means that all of the LBP signatures will stop working.

But don't worry! LBP2Blog gave the code for the signature generators to LittleBigPlanetarium and LittleBigLand, so you won't have to worry about losing them forever.

My understanding is that they gave them the code, but not control of the servers upon which they are hosted. Thus, your signatures will stop working. If one of those sites chooses to play host to the signature service, then you will be able to use them again.

Hmmm kind of right :> but keeping that host alive is cost for fodawim, or else he still keep the server, then yeah he should keep signatures too imo

Domain is still alive and it's not much costly thing, it's possible to do some overriding based on it to Planetarium and LBLand servers, so signature will work anyway

Not costly? It takes $20 a month to keep it running.2012-03-20 04:08:00

No loss for me. Sucks whenever you lose part of a community, though. :/2012-03-20 04:17:00

I mean domain, the address you type in, it's body independed from server since it's part of DNS system :> As i know you pay yearly for domain registration, so it's not a big deal. Once you got domain you can set it to any IP address, for example planetariums, if diectory path will be the same signatures will work, since browsers will be redirected to diffrent server, planetariums for example
