Hi everybody. I?m triying to make a football game and i have a problem. I made a ball with a microchip and when a sackbot is close to it you can push a button and the ball goes fast to one direccion. But How could you make that when your sackbot is looking to the left for example and push the buttom, the ball goes to the direction you are looking to?? My ball always goes to the same direction (right) I put an AND gate with a proximity sensor and a mover so if our sackbot is close you can use the button and when it is press, the object moves fast to the right. I repeat the same but this time the mover uses negative speed to move it to the left. But it ALLWAYS moves to the right. This is killing me...Arrrgggggg!!! Could you help me please???? I think i did it. This is the way it goes: i put an AND gate link to our button and to the output controllinator: left/right joystick and if the direction and linked to the input of an advanced mover speed left/right. When the button and the direcction are sending the singal at the same time, the ball goes fast to the direcction you are going to. I will try with the follower too. Thank you very much. Actually, you solution may lag if you change direction just before kicking. Instead, do this. On the sackbot, place two "ball" tag sensors, one which detects to the right and one to the left. Make sure they are set to signal strenght, this way they output 100%. Place a tag of the same label on the ball. On the bot, use two AND gates, one for each sensor. The other input on each AND gate is for the kick button. The AND gates then go to a combiner (left is minus, right is plus). Connect the combiner in a "kick" tag. On the ball, place a tag sensor set to signal strenght, "kick". Run it through an advanced mover's L/R input and through the mover's power input. You might want to make the ball move a bit upward using a basic mover. You could even add some logic where there's a high kick and a low kick, or even one which makes you give a curve to the ball. | 2012-03-18 17:07:00 Author: Unknown User |
I like that there are so many ways to do things. I was going to suggest trying a same sized holographic material that follows the ball and is always pointed upwards using a gyroscope.
