How do I make a top down for multiplayer? I'm trying to make a top down level and I want it to be able to have multiple players for a top-down co-op, 1-4 players. How would I go about doing the top down cameras for it to work properly? When multiple players are not on the same screen close to each other it does the count down when the players are out of range of each other. Split screen can only be used in versus mode. But if players aren't able to hurt each other that shouldn't be a problem. Just go to your tools bag and in the back pages there is an option for co-op, versus or cut scene.

Thats not split screen split screen is about.... spliting single screen and have 2 seperate views in each split ;] LBP2 don't have that, it only allows seperate cameras for each player in online. Versus kill hi-scores and each player have seperate score, if you don't mind that use it ;] If you really need hi-scores and combined scores there way to work around it, easiest is.... acknowledge this feature and prepare logic and gameplay for such situation, other solution is to make gameplay in way that its impossible to go out of range and another solution is to be faster then game and detect player going out of range and make gameplay react. More advence solution is to play around with cameras, read thread in help section that is about camera, i write down a nice trick there with zoom in and outs Keep in mind Versus in local multiplayer got same issues, so try to solve it anyway
