| Wow I'm trying Maple Story, I hope its fun it got some pretty good reviews so I'm looking forward to playing, Do you have it? Can you download Maple Story for a Mac? and is it free signup? if both of thsoe are met, I would be GLAD to play with you guys, but we have to see  , I will check and post back here with results, hopefully as a new post, but will edit this one if i have too.Cheers! | Do you guys know about stat builds and know where to put stats where? You can permanantly mess up your character with a single click of a button so I thought it would be worth mentioning. If you're a bowman SRNM, then at level 30 you can opt for either a a hunter (bow) or a crossbowman. | The easiest way would be going to the nearest Taxi Cab in the town you're in right now and paying to get a ride to Perion, or you can just walk around asking people if they have a Perion Town Scroll.. it's not worth much so people would just give it to you. | Installing can either be really fast or really slow. I suggest just starting it, then going to dinner or something. Dont cancel it though, its hard as crud to get installed but awesome as heck to play. (Trying not to swear). Anyway, it will extract maplestory.msi and then take a bit, then launch another thing and install something else. This takes ages and looks like its frozen. Just leave it. | The Page line has many limitations though. First off, 2nd job is rather dull. Unlike other warrior classes, you get no party skills (ever in fact... not counting Maple Warrior, since everyone gets it). It's basically a solo class, so the only thing you contribute to parties is extra damage. You get Threaten (a skill that lowers attack and defense of monsters for a minute at max), but it's not really very useful outside of times when you'll have to take damage. 3rd job picks things up with 3 elemental charges (fire, which you'll likely max out first, ice, which can freeze, and lightning, which is likely maxed last). The problem here though, is that you're only at your strongest when you train at monsters weak to your element of choice. Most go with Fire first since a fair amount of monsters around 70-80 are weak to fire. The rest of the elements don't have many monster choices. Either way, elements make White Knights suffer the same flaw magicians have, in that they can't always train at their best in some of the better training areas. 4th job gives you a holy charge, which gives you more options. A few more attacks as well. But you're still pretty limited. This doesn't all mean the Page line is bad, I find it quite fun. Despite flaws, they're actually one of the strongest classes in terms of damage output when they train at monsters weak to their element. I wouldn't recommend it to you if you have no plans to make it to 3rd job however. If you won't, I'd recommend any other warrior class. Also, if you do choose Page, I don't recommend using Blunt Weapons. They're very unstable in damage. | I don't know much about Brawlers, but I find Gunslingers are pretty fun to play as. The only drawback is that their damage is horrible (and very unstable early on) until 3rd job. Even then, most of their mob skills aren't that great until they're maxed out when they hit 6 monsters, since most of them start out only hitting 3 monsters. Some of them don't hit that many even. Still, any mob skill is better than none. If you're looking for a comparison, they play almost exactly like Assassins do (in terms of how they can jump, and attack in the air). What I know of Brawlers is that they're almost like Warriors, but with less HP (they get a Max HP Increase skill during second job as apposed to first job like warriors). A massive drawback here is that they lack any defensive skills that Warriors get. | Maple Story is a very "stats based" game. Meaning, you need to pick a class at level 1 and stick with it as you add points, otherwise you won't be at your full potential. I guess the game still doesn't make this obvious enough when you're starting out.
