Just finished off polishing this level up, it's nothing ground-breaking but I thought it was a rather nice idea. Anywho, I'm not doing F4F but feel free to comment on it if you want (unfortunately, I can't do screen-captures). It's a single-player level that lasts about 5-10 minutes and is intended to frustrate as little as possible (there are only a couple of spots where you could die through falling through the level...) Just finished what will hopefully be the last update: -New section added with a new puzzle! -Tweaked the game-play for some of the puzzles to make them smoother -Adjusted the controls for the puzzles -Added some points -Removed some game-breaking problems That is with the thermometer on the level pretty much full. EDIT: Fixed, just so that in case someone does manage to kill one of the sprites (although, I have REPEATEDLY tried to kill them and not managed it...) another spawns. | 2012-03-18 11:13:00 Author: Unknown User |
I've tried playing it but the little fellow got stuck in one of the obstacles. It was the one with the bounce pads. I enjoyed it. I loved the style, unique gameplay, and the environment. I will replay it sometime. If you give some work on the detail of the game and polish some things up then it will be well deserving for an MM pick. Yeah, I've been troubleshooting the level for a while; perhaps you could tell me which bit of the bounce pad puzzle was an issue? Well its on the second level on the bounce pads. You have three levels to your bounce pad platform and I got stuck on the second level. It happened when I tried bouncing onto the second level then to the third but I ended up behind the pad. I could move left and right but I couldn't get the little fellow to jump or anything, he was just stuck there. If its possible all you really need to do is add a jump button to the sackbot or maybe having it move on different layers. I couldn't add a jumping sackbot to the bouncepad puzzle; it required too much reworking of that section in order to remain balanced. However, in the event of one of the sackbots getting stuck without necessarily dying, there is now a "Reset Sprite" option available in the controllinator interface for all puzzles.
