Now we all seen the save littlebigplanet levels and we all know of the people who copy levels and republish them. we also know now that both are becoming a little bit of a pain So my idea is simple. I want a block creator button. with this the person you blocked level's won't come up in searches or in the cool wall. This way we wouldn't have to moderate about half the community. who copy can then just be ignored and allowed to do what they do and the people who don't want to see it just won't see it. It is a win win on each side. just to make this more clear, <> Blocked creators can still appear on the cool wall for everyone who didn't block them <> Blocked creators won't be able to find your planet <> A block list should also be added to control who you blocked and if you want unblock them <> Blocked creators Nays and Yays will still count on your levels, so you don't just block people for a good rating I would also like it if they added a comment box for the good grief of a level to not cause confusion. if you think there are any problems with this idea I would like to hear feed back.

I've been waiting for this for a while. Being able to have some control over your profile instead of it being a wall waiting to be graffiti-ed all over by spammers would be a welcome addition. Thanked post

Ok... here's the thing (and you'll probably like it) Spaff said in a thread a while ago that in a future patch (maybe 1.12 but he wasn't sure) that creators will get the power to block comments on levels and profiles. In addition boos will be removed from the game. This will pretty much cover your suggestion (with the exception of blocking others levels from appearing... but with this part of the suggestion your kinda condeming people suggesting they will never make a good level ever... so I don't agree with your suggestion here anyway... but whatever)

I want to keep boos in the game. I use them as a marker to say "ok this needs to be improved" I feel like being booed is essential to creator growth. I also don't like the idea of blocking some people from visiting you earth, but restricting post sounds like a good idea, even though they should be able to post on the level still. Blocking who you don't want to see would be great, but blocking who can post would not.

I think I speak for a large group when I say I want the game to use the XMBs block list, or have it's own in-game block list. Simply having an option to disable comments altogether is just silly. So, what? I have to stop everyone from being able to post things simply because one tool keeps hassling me? Doesn't seem like a very useful solution to me. I'm also totally in favour of being able to block users completely in the sense that anything and everything they do in the community stops appearing in my searches. There are just some morons that flat out deserve to be totally boycotted. Instead of the community complaining about certain users flooding the cool pages or other such griefing, the community could en masse boycott them. Being seen in someones Recent Activity or searches and being allowed to play someone elses level is a priveledge, not a right, and I feel anyone who wishes to strip someone else of that ability, should be entitled to. I don't think Dav1d0 quite understands the point in stopping someones levels from appearing. It's not that people want to or should block anyone and everyone that creates a bad level, it's more to do with the idea of silencing griefers and spammers. I understand that some petty individuals might abuse the block by silencing anyone who says even the slightest thing that puts their nose out of joint, but that would be a misuse of the system, not the systems fault.

This will pretty much cover your suggestion (with the exception of blocking others levels from appearing... but with this part of the suggestion your kinda condeming people suggesting they will never make a good level ever... so I don't agree with your suggestion here anyway... but whatever) I disagree with removing boos, it yays and boos are like saying thumbs up and thumbs down. so it is basicly would you reconment this level or not. the issue I have isn't with the comments it is with the creators who repost copied levels as half the time their moon is filled with levels I don't want to play or see on the cool wall. if a block list is put in place then people would be disinclined to anoy other players as it could cause them to lose plays
