MM does cut corners and cheat a bit, but the closest thing you could use is the sticker panel material.2012-03-12 02:36:00

Basically you'll just use an emitter series on a Sequencer. Have each emitter emit the text for until the sequencer gets to the next emitter. You can do this with the lifetime setting. Make sure each emitter is on One-Shot, too.2012-03-12 03:09:00

As poorjack says, MM have thier own way of doing things... But there are quite a good few ways of doing this.

The best way is probably sticker panel material. Im not sure I remember what the credits at the end of the game play like, but if they scroll from say, top to bottom, it probably a series of sticker panel blocks bigger than the screen, each under the last .Each 'block' would have a number of credits drawn onto them.
When the player spawns, a player sensor activates a sequencer with a series of movie cameras on it. These play out in sequence from top screen to bottom screen, scrolling through the credits.
Again that is just one way... there are loads of ways to do it.

Hope that might help....It all depends on the effects you want to use.

For example, another way would be to have the credits fade from one to another. This would be done with a player sensor connected to a aequencer. On the sequencer are a series of batterys. Each battery in sequence connects to each sticker panel 'block of credits'. (so battery one goes to the first sticker panel credit, battery 2 to second and so on).
Each of these sticker panel blocks are set to DIMMER, and thier OFF opacity to 0 and ON opacity to 100. (THis means that as a battery is activated, its block lights up to show the credit. As it read the next battery the previous credit block fades out, and the next lights up....and so on. Each block is overlayed onto of the last so and a movie camera spanning the sequencer and zoomed to just focus on the credit screen.

For my level I have created a credits roll that is basically a movie cam on an invisible object that slowly scrolls from up in the level all the way down, passing by lines of text created with sticker panel. It is easier to move the camera down than to move all those text shapes upwards.2012-03-12 14:18:00

Maybe make it on LBPV (LittleBigPlanet Vita) when it comes out. Then the note feature is much more flexible, plus you can delete the yellow back to the note.2012-03-14 00:18:00
