Unofficial LBP MGS Pack PS3 Theme Now Available!

Hello all! I've recently got back to Photoshopping and here is the result of many hours of love and hard work in the form of my newest PS3 Theme (http://www.bestps3themes.com/2008/12/31/littlebigplanet-mgs-pack/). It features:


9 High Definition backgrounds, all custom made.
ALL custom icons with an LBP/MGS twist (see a preview in my signature below).
It is Firmware 2.53 compatible, so all your icons will show up in this theme.

This theme also supports Standard Definition televisions. It simply adjusts the HD image to fit the screen. Thanks to BassDeluxe for testing it out on his TV! I had made a background specifically for you SD TV owners out there, so now it's just an extra if you want it!

Sorry guys, like I said, the program I was forced to use (all be it a great program: PS3ThemeCreator) doesn't allow for me to include SD wallpapers. The HD ones I think were simply ported to SD format when the theme was compiled. So they ARE there, but I have no idea what it will look like, stretched out or cropped, I don't know... Maybe one of you could download it and let me know what it looks like? Would be much appreciated 2008-12-31 22:36:00

Hehe, yea the Darth Sack is actually near the top of the highest rated themes on allps3themes.com now here's the link: http://www.allps3themes.com/ and just look to the right in highest rated themes! Or do a search for KAPBAM and it will show you all my themes.

If you try out the MGS theme, that would be really cool too if you tell me how the wallpapers turn out. I asked Bass also if you could help, if they look good I'll be able to change the OP, otherwise I will leave it as is!		2008-12-31 22:55:00

Thanks! yea it looks really sharp against the white original background too! My most proud icon though is the Paintinator Trophy icon, and I'm sure some MGS fans will get the reference in the Download Manager icon: it's the codec with Otacon's channel number 		2008-12-31 23:20:00

I just tried it on my SD and all that happened was that it left some black space at the top and bottom, and cropped a little off the edges. It looks fine, really. However, I'm not sure how to switch between the backgrounds. How do you do that?2008-12-31 23:38:00

It's based on the time of your internal clock. It'll change at specific times.		2008-12-31 23:40:00

Have they said anything about this level pack ever going away? I don't know why it would go away, but I spent a lot this month on a ski trip so I'm trying to really cut back on unnecessary expenses until next month =P
