I assume you like RPG's?
The problem with DS games is that the good RPG's are hard to find... maybe get Solatorobo : Red the Hunter off Amazon?

But, yeah... why don't you have a PSP? I have a Huuuuuge list for that!

Wahaha!

Hmm... do you have a DSi, or just a Lite/Phat?

If you have a DSi, there are some ok-ish DSiWare.

Spectrobes wasn't too bad. It wasn't AWESOME. But it wasn't horrible, either.

One of the few handheld games I've actually been able to play through the entire thing for. The only other two were FFXII Revenant Wings and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Would also be Birth by Sleep but I don't have that, yet... :I

I quite like the Ace Attorney series. It's pretty easy to find them cheap since they've been out a while. Very thought provoking gameplay and some good storylines. Plus, with the DS you can optionally use the mic to shout OBJECTION!

Also, since you've played Black and White, you may want to look into the Mystery Dungeon games if you haven't yet.

No idea how expensive it is, but Dragon Quest IX. I'm still playing it now, I think my playtime is around 160 hours.

I really like Super Scribblenauts as well :3

Off the top of my head (and this is partially based on secondhand knowledge as well as some genre preferences so make of my suggestions what you will) two games for the DS I can recommend are the Castlevania DS titles and the Mega Man Zero Collection.

The DS has three Castlevania titles if I recall correctly: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia and in my opinion that is also their order of quality. DoS won't really make a whole lot of sense to you unless you've also played Aria of Sorrow (originally released in the ye olde days of the GBA) which it is a sequel of and Portrait of Ruin also requires some familiarity with the Castlevania lore and you may not really care about the lighthearted, animesque art style of both games. I personally don't really feel like their art style really meshes well with the overall atmosphere of the franchise but that's just me. On the other hand if you want to hedge your bets on just one Castlevania DS title Ecclesia's the horse I'd recommend you bet on; it doesn't really require that much familiarity with the franchise so neophyte players won't really feel so lost but also has the more Hammer horror-esque atmospheric tone of previous Castlevanias that was partly what made them popular in the first place. The music is stellar as per most Castlevania game and OoE also recaptures some of the difficulty of the older games as well, which may give you more or less incentive to get it depending on how much of a challenge your looking for.

Speaking of challenging games, the Mega Man Zero Collection is, as the name indicates is a collection of all the Mega Man Zero games from the GBA (which are the ones I have). As a whole, these games are very difficult and have gameplay comparable to the old-school Mega Man games in their brutality but at the same time they are quite different because you aren't playing Mega Man this time, rather you play as Zero, lightsaber-swinging best friend of Mega Man X as well as the last and greatest creation of the original Mega Man's archenemy, Dr. Wily and fan favorite of the franchise. Stylistically, the games are superficially very cartoony with animeesque character designs and a bright color palette but this directly contrasts with the fact that these games are easily the darkest of the entire Mega Man franchise from a thematic perpective and interestingly, also the ones with the strongest sense of having a genuine narrative arc throughout. Again, these games are, relatively speaking very challenging with bottomless pits and spikes everywhere and bosses that can easily tear through your life guage but there is a Demon's Souls-esque sense of accomplishment in tearing your way through so many nasty enemies who are legitimately a threat to you compared to the more casual lack of difficulty of most modern games, just don't be surprised if things get really frustrating regularly while playing. The soundtrack overall is also great, though you may be turned off by the relatively crude graphics because of the Collection being a direct port from the GBA.
