Hi there guys. Name is Mjanz. at least my gamertag is. This seems like a friendly and nice forum, and I am glad I found it.

I've been playing lbp2/1 for roughly a year now. So far I haven't created anything very note worthy. 2-3 months after purchase I befriended some lbp vets who kinda dampened my spirits by enlightening me of how bad the lbp community was.

Or rather, it's lack of appriciation for the good levels. Recently the cool pages have been flooded by copied 5-minute levels and it really isn't looking like it'll pick up any time soon. So I never really made myself invest a solid amount of time into creating a level. Only to have it reach 10 plays before it was forgotten forever.

However, found this forum today. I see you guys got lots of cool sections where people might get their levels noticed and appriciated for quality. So my hope is regained.

Signing up so I can start making some good levels. Hopefully this forum can help me get my levels some plays, not to mention re-ignite my dying flame for lbp. I truly love this game, it's captivated me from the second I bought it. And I've played it lots. Just never gotten on my feet in terms of level creation.

Anyways, that's my intro. Hopefully you guys won't shun me too hard for this, I'm here to stay.

Hi Mjanz and welcome to LBPC! So glad you found us and decided to join. This is really a great place to be. It's an awesome place to make new friends, learn techniques and tricks and just to have a good time. I hope that LBP spark is rekindled and while you're out exploring the site, be sure to check out these here links to get you started.

The Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) area is the place you want to go to make a thread about your level. We have an optional F4F (feedback for feedback) system where you tell others to check out your level, come back and give feedback/suggestions and you'll do the same for them. It's a valuable system that is underused here. Be sure to use the LBP.me tool (the white bell in a blue box icon) http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png this will pull your level info from LBP.me and place it in the thread for you.
Spotlights (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/content.php?124-Community-Content) -- In the mood to play some awesome member levels? This is the place to go. We're currently on episode 79!
Help (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?126-LBP2-Help%21) and Tutorials (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?127-LBP2-Tutorials) --Need help with a LBP issue? Check out our extensive tutorial library and help sections. We have tons of extremely knowledgeable members who are more than happy to help out.

That's all for now. In the mean time, have fun and enjoy your time here. If you need anything, please feel free to ask.

Welcome! Glad ya made it!

For one, not many here put much credit or faith in the cool pages. It has always been a nightmare to get there for any levels that are really worthy of the title. I had some success during the first year of LBP1, but anymore I try to stay away from there as my levels are usually more to the taste of those that are older as well as more seasoned players that love a bit of a challenge and can appreciate my humor.

So yup.. post your levels in our Level Showcase. Take advantage of the F4F (feedback for feedback) system. I think it more worth it to get tons of feedback to help you improve than a few plays. Getting better as a creator is really what I think is most satisfying. To be able to make what others will consider really fun and amazing levels as well as possibly landing an LBPC Spotlight for your hard work. To me, that is even better than an Mm pick. Being judged by your peers that you can create great stuff!

Have fun!
