Ummm, Hey Guys.

I locked my entry because whenever my beta testers reached the minigame (it was the last thing I added before the final update on 2/29/12) in the level, the game would crash for unknown reasons, it occurred 87.5% of the time (I had 8 beta testers).

I gave the level link to them and they would play the sub-level. I've decided to just remove the minigame and give it another test, to see if there was anything else that caused the problem, and if there is, I guess the 3D Layers will be removed and tested as well, it did lag at certain points, so it may be related to that.

Can I fix this and republish?

Oops, I almost forgot. The first publish date of the level was in July 2011, which may create the misconception that I published my entry much before the competition, which is not true. If you look through my levels, you will see that their first publishing date was in July 2011 (well for most of them), which was when I and a few other LittleBigPlayers found a new publishing glitch. This glitch allowed you to bypass the default amount of maximum levels, which was 40 (if you had both games).

If you go to my profile, you will see that I have 60 levels, the reason you won't see them is because I made them sublevels to prevent clutter on my earth.

It was later fixed at the end of 2011, and I was stuck in a rut. I couldn't publish anymore levels. I can only publish on top of older levels or delete twenty of them. That's why my level has such an old first publishing date. I tell the competition leaders this story every time I enter in a competition, just in case. I actually recently told Bludhound (from www.littlebigland.com) this as well when I entered in LBL's Competition.

To be absolutely fair I sent a message to OmegaSlayer and Rialrees concerning that lbp.me claimed I had published my level over 10 times past the deadline! I SWEAR I hadn't even touched create mode after the deadline! I asked if they knew any glitches or something that I did that would affect LBP.me to say this! Both me and biorogue had problems playing Juninho8's entry http://lbp.me/v/egy2jh
The level didn't load and froze our PS3s
I personally contacted him and asked him to fix the problem, especially since we saw that a number of players could enter the level.

why'd you move them back? They show up in a list anyway and the judges will have got them in their personal list... the levels being moved was a visual inconvinience only. Be careful, it's hard to prove why you republished and I'm sure the judges don't want to throw anyone out... but it is their job to keep the contest fair and orderly. Ah I wouldn't worry about me... I have absolutely no authority in these contests, I'm simply helping the crew out with these threads (answering questions etc, based on my own experiences) I certainly don't want to cause any alarm. I'm sure your level will be fine but was merely suggesting sometimes it's better to play it safe. Just remember, considering these contests are not publically judged you lose nothing by people moving the levels around... so stuff like that is best ignored.

Hi LBPC Contest Team.

So I just figured out why my level was crashing, but I was just wondering if their is any point in fixing the glitch and republishing. I spent many hours/days in create and began to get tense that I couldn't figure out what was wrong, then I read a post that said "Today's the Last Day to Republish" (my tenseness level at that moment = 1000). I am very confused right now. >_< lol

Yesterday night I finally figured out what was wrong. I remembered something that a friend had told me back in LBP1 about the emit and destroy method. The game was overloaded with many moving objects, so after the minigame, when a new segment was added/emitted to the level, the game would crash. Now fixing the problem will take a while, because of all the trimming, repairing, removing, and re-emitting of emitted pieces ...

I can fix it up tomorrow and the day after (maybe about the day after part, probably won't need it), but will I be able to republish?		2012-03-07 06:29:00

The big problem is that your level was locked by the deadline and still is at the moment.
So no one got the chance to see if it was complete or not.
I suggest you to fix it and unlock it ANYWAY.
We judge will take a decision about including it or not in the list of competitors.

I didnt make that emitter fix within the 1 day limit but it is not a problem just after the annoying ball course a sack comes out and says thx and mentions that he saw a fuzzy bear go bye. If you want to see it, feel free to play the just in case level that was published an hour or so past the deadline. No, they're not coming soon.
The average quality is pretty damm high this time and it's hard to come up with a top 3, with honourable mentions etc...
There could be a long HM list or there couldn't be one at all.

I knew the judges wouldn't get them judged anytime soon, I know they like to be precise, and leave no stone un-turned when it comes to judgement. It helps, as they have lots of time to make sure everyone is happy with the final placings. As well, knowing the judges are mostly adults, and therefore have jobs and otherworldly things outside of LBP, they are incredibly dedicated and for that, I, as well as most other people are greatly thankful to the them. So yeah, thanks for putting so much time and effort into orgnising and running these contests! 2012-03-15 23:37:00

Oh snap! We goofed guys. We've been steadily playing through LBPC6 entries by mistake. Whoosh! What a relief actually, because we had come to the conclusion that no one understood what the contest was about. We've got it sorted now and should START playing through the LBPC7 entries as soon as the rest of the team get back from vacations. So we are looking at starting to play them around mid May. Thanks guys! Can't wait to see what you all came up with.


Now pick your jaws up, I'm just kidding around. We are working on it and are getting much closer to a decision. Breath. Breath. Now, see, it doesn't sound that bad after all. Have patience, we are doing the best we can. We all in the crew have lives outside of LBP and have conflicting schedules. We ARE working on the contest, just try to be patient. No I think that's spot on! The gameplay itself on these games are actually pretty good, just the copied ones lack effort and execution. My goal in LBP1 was making to make good quality, original bomb survivals. That, believe it or not, went pretty well		2012-04-03 17:10:00

Update. The hub is going back and forth via mail between me and the others because my connection at home still doesn't work.
I hope everything will be ok and released in time.
You can't imagine how something that needs 10 minutes becomes a tragedy to handle in a similar situation where DLCs messes up the chance to edit something.
We lost from Friday to today without being able to set things because the hub couldn't be edited for a reason or another.
