Hello, hello! I just published my new level for the LBPC7 "It's Showtime" contest, called "Peter Panda on Broadway". Basically, you break into a theatre, fight off some nasty guards and find your way onto the stage where the play is starting. (It's a parody of Peter Pan!) From here, the bulk of the gameplay takes place onstage, with the sets changing out after each scene. It's filled with a very wide variety of gameplay styles, from action to some physics puzzles, to flight, to driving and more. Here are a couple teaser images. By far one of the most original entries in the LBPC7 contest I've played. Cute play on the peter pan theme with several distinct gameplay sections which help sackboy journey through the story of the original show. Each of these sections has great gameplay,variety and challenge. The catch the shadow game was a clever idea, the flying penguins random fun, the ship a clever puzzle section and the jump across the crocs was a great timing challenge...all these and lots more besides. The story, humour and sackbot action were well implemented and whimsical. The whole package really delivers a show that entertain, rather than the generic platform through a circus/carnival muppet background which so many others seemed to opt for. If originality and gameplay are taken into account this should do very well.
