I'm trying to make a character select screen between three controllinators (attached to separate animated characters), but I'm not sure the best way to do this. I want it to be three player, so I figured some kind of pointer would be best, where when you highlight the character, you can select that one and get in the controllinator. I have never tried this before but I have a few ideas of how to do it. Sadly, I won't be able to help you right now. . You can add my PSN (Should say it somewhere to the left) and I will help you out. I'm GMT-5 so you are 3 hours behind me so I can help you from 12pm-7pm (Your time) on weekdays and any time on the weekends, if I'm not busy. Let me know if you want my help. I don't have LBP running right now so I don't have a reference to logic and stuff so that's why I can't help you hear at the moment . The logic you need seems really straight forward and I will work on a prototype for you. You can do it menu based, or you can have a character select level, where everyone picks what character they want to play as. I'm not 100% sure on either logic, but I have a pretty good idea. If you want some help, I might be able to offer some. Just send me a PM here or something. If you want to see a character select that allows multiple players, look up the Frozen Flame (http://lbp.me/v/y-frxj) series. It might give you some idea of what you can do. Take a look at the Controlinator Trickery (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=67081-Controlinator-Trickery) thread by Antikris. Should help with making a robust select system. I came up with a menu that works, it's not that complicated. Each player has their own cursor, they choose a character, once they do, they can't move the cursor anymore and no one else can select that character. You can also press "O" if you want to choose a different character. Wow thanks Wolffy! I'll add you tonight and check that out. And I read that Controlinator thread, Mr_Fusion. It gave me some ideas, but I'm still a bit confused. I'll talk to you later about it. Also, sorry for being so irresolute, but I'm not sure if I still want to stick with the point and select method... I was thinking toggles using three face buttons. Of course I might end up sticking with the original plan, but perhaps similar logic could be used for both. It seem like such a simple if function: If square is pressed, triangle and circle are deactivated unless square is pressed again.
