I've got some fab news for you, something that I'm very pleased to announce - We've deputised StevenI to work officially on the LBP Community. For quite some time now I've talked about plans to improve the community work we do, and this is a large part of it. Steven, who already does a fantastic job on the official forums, Get Satisfaction, and the LBP Wiki, amongst others, will be learning the ropes of LBP Community Management at Mm towers this week, and as we go along you'll start to hear more and more from him. Please welcome him to the fold, he's going to do great job! <3

Personally, I don't have a good impression of StevenI. What I've seen happen in this subforum particularly is a user will post some news here and a while later StevenI comes along and posts the same thing and takes the credit for finding it. I'm still waiting for a follow up to a PM I sent to them about a thread someone else posted being removed as well.

He then adds that information both here and there at the appropriate time. So it's not that he found it, he just had to wait to reveal it. Anyway, congratulations Steven! There's no better person to assimilate into the LBP overmind.

Especially doing it for free for several years. There are always a few that will end up getting a bad impression no matter how well he does or how much time he puts in. The majority find him really helpful and nice. I suggest giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Unless it's one of the many secrets you absolutely must keep until the time is right, and that telling someone means exterminating that person so the info isn't leaked. Reminds me of that huge sign some parents put on the closet door that says in big, bold letters:"Do Not Open Till Christmas" (Which is kinda a HUGE giveaway unless you're THAT convinced that a fat man from the North Pole delivers your presents).

If my word means something to you I can grant you that StevenI is genuinely a great guy. I know, I experienced how much he helped behind the scenes even before getting this job. He solved maaaaaaaaaaaaany problems that "OTHERS" with a job should have solved. And he's quick at getting to people that needs it.

New MM Picks I know! It's going crazy! I'm happy to confirm that I played comish's Checkers game (which I'm happy to admit is far better than mine) and BlockThing 3D before they were picked...... which rarely happens for me. Kudos to Spaff for picking some levels that didn't have many plays pre-MM pick.

Do you have a backlog of levels that you want to picked, or do you start afresh every week? It's a good mix of both. I have a small list of levels that I would love to feature asap and will earmark them for an upcoming MmPicks release. However I'm always on the look out for new levels and so that schedule is subject to change right up until the moment that I select my five MmPicks for the week!

Just thought I would post this to say what a fine job you are doing with the MM picks. This should have been done a long time ago. Now I feel as if I want to go straight to the MM picks instead of searching endlessly for those one off levels that delight in so many ways. I played a level yesterday (think it's inspired by Cubix?) and I was blown away. Keep up the good work my friend, you are single handedly revitalising a franchise that I consider the most 'important' game of this or any other generation.
