Adding a hud will be a great addtion to LBP2. As camera zooming in and out wouldn't be a problem. People who uses HUDs in there levels know what I mean with camer angels and zooming and out. And also wouldn't be reduce to the Hologram or stickerpanel material.

I agree with this one completely, but mostly for a multiplayer hud. I have a glitchy system for multiplayer, but I do wish the building process would be the same, because they are fun to build.
