Can bagel eating pandas be grounded? If they can, then I guess I've been grounded? | 2012-02-18 05:24:00 Author: DominationMags Posts: 1840 |
The ones who tried grounding me got sucked into The Void, 'nuff said. Also Unc, how many times a year do you get grounded? | 2012-02-18 08:36:00 Author: nysudyrgh Posts: 5482 |

The ones who tried grounding me got sucked into The Void, 'nuff said. Also Unc, how many times a year do you get grounded? I only get grounded if I make bad grade or have a bad attitude to my mom. | 2012-02-18 13:48:00 Author: unc92sax Posts: 928 |
Don't you think it's kind of embarrassing to say this...? | 2012-02-18 14:01:00 Author: Schark94 Posts: 3378 |
I only get grounded if I make bad grade or have a bad attitude to my mom. I assume you have bad grades all the time, you are grounded 75% of the time. | 2012-02-18 17:53:00 Author: nysudyrgh Posts: 5482 |
Great another spam thread... Shh... let's keep this as "topical" as we can. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/2749/winkiy.jpg As for staying grounded OP, that is highly illogical. You see, I personally need to go to sleep. However, to go to sleep, I must lay down on a bed, therefore I am not touching the ground. A simple mathematical formula can be formed for this type of logic: g+h=l g=ground, h=height, and l=level. By sleeping on a bed that is 8 inches above the ground, we could conquer that 0 is our base (g), so 0+8=8. That would mean I am 8 inches above the ground, thus levitating. Because of this levitation, this would mean that my brain would need to be functioning at a higher rate/percentage than the average human mind. Extrasensory Perception (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extrasensory_perception) (or ESP) is commonly linked with this phenomenon. It is already scientifically proven that our brains are constantly at work, even during the sleep cycle. Not only that, but the mind also experiences a high rate or processing, known as dreams. For unknown reasons, dreams occur throughout our life with no actual reason. Nevertheless, the brain rejuvenates itself over night, so we see dreams as a mere pass time. I do not. By seeing ESP as another factor for our equation, we can assume that g+h=l is dependent on ESP, therefore l=ESP. By being 8 inches off the ground, I mind is processing 8*10^23 signals per second (the equation for this similar to the one used to find molecules in an element, since we're studying the element of surprise sleep). If the average human really does sleep for about 8-10 hours a day, we should find the total amount of seconds we sleep, which would be 28800-36000 ((60*60)*8 and (60*60)*10). The sheer number of signals sent must mean we have surpassed every type of human intelligence possible, meaning we are a higher type of life form than we thought. In conclusion, we now that the truth: every time we sleep, we become ESP using aliens with no disregard of the actual laws of physics and the universe, whatsoever. What does this have to do with getting grounded? I don't know, but at least I made a scientific breakthrough, so that wasn't a total waste of time! | 2012-02-18 18:43:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |

I assume you have bad grades all the time, you are grounded 75% of the time. No. I have good grades. It's more for having a bad attitude after staying up too late making a level... | 2012-02-18 23:55:00 Author: unc92sax Posts: 928 |
Does rolling off your bed in your sleep and falling face-first into the floor count as getting 'grounded'? | 2012-02-19 00:53:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |

Yes. You see, twas a long time back when I got the chance to fly with NASA! I hopped onto a space shuttle and met Spongebob who was flying it. We flew into space and talked to the stars who told us that Jupiter was slowly going to implode, so we headed there to save the planet. When we got there the process had already begun, the planet was breaking. So me and spongedoodle had to get to the center of the planet to reverse the effect. We were almost there when the monster of Arakbahazaraka stopped us. Who was a fearsome monster with twenty green eyes and no arms but a split tail. However it turned out his one weakness was his staff which when knocked over he fell, right into the center of the planet reversing the effect and saving the planet. Unfortunately spongedoddle didn't make it and was laid to rest on the planet in recognition of his services to the planet. But then the impossible happened and his body gave life to lots of little spongebobbles who occupied the city and made apple houses to live there for the rest of their time. I watched a civilization begin before going back to my homeland, I was breaking through the cloud barrier when the ship caught fire. The engines stopped! I was headed for certain doom! I ran to the back of the ship as the alarm sounded. I struggled but managed to get the parachute out of the supply chest. I burst the door open and lunged outside. I opened my parachute and my ship blew up behind me. Although I didn't look at the cool explosion, because cool guys don't look at explosions. I nearly got to the ground when Gnomes popped out of the ground and gave me a standing ovation. Then I had landed. I was finally, Grounded. So I guess so, I have been grounded. | 2012-02-20 18:06:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
My parents have never used it as a punishment, but once in a plane we had to land in France for some reason to refuel, and were hence 'grounded' prematurely. Oh, also: http://www.symbols.com/pics/big/04/0437.gif | 2012-02-20 19:22:00 Author: kirbyman62 Posts: 1893 |
When I was a kid I got grounded for life one time. My buddy and I were outside shooting my brand new BB gun. A real powerful one, not the one pumpers. Anyway, I let my buddy shoot it. He pumps it up as many times as he could, kneels down beside a pole and takes aim at a passing truck. In slow motion I'm like, "Noooooooooooo" and try and grab his arm, but he pushes me back and says, "I'm just going to shoot the back of it." He pulls the trigger and KAPOW! The side window of the truck blows out! The truck screeches to a halt, turns around and comes back to my house. The guys in the truck even told my dad who did it, but I still got my rear end tore up. Then my dad said, "And YOUR GROUNDED" I asked, "how long?" and he said "FOR LIFE!" Guess I should let my wife know that I'm still grounded. | 2012-02-20 19:30:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
