StarRunner here!

I love LBP, but I've been a little slow to the band wagon since I only got a PS3 semi-recently. I'm studying to be a game designer (and have stacks of notes for my own games). I'm creating some levels for the game and I thought I'd check in and ask around to make sure I get things right.

When I'm not gaming, I'm drawing, writing, or voice-acting (Oh... and working). Anyways, I'm somewhat newish, but I learn quick and already nearly have the big platinum trophy for LBP2. Anyways, it's a pleasure to be here and hope to interact with you guys!		2012-02-17 05:03:00

That's a great overview! I'll definitely be poking around. First up... find ways to get the sound quality better if possible. My high condenser microphone doesn't sound like the studio quality mic it should when I use it for LBP. It's crystal clear on my PC (As it should since it costs over $200).2012-02-17 05:23:00

Welcome! Glad ya made it!

I think why your mic does not work as expected is the sample rate for storage inside LBP is just not up to snuff. Same as the resolution of the ps3 eye. It does better than that, but LBP just tosses all the extra bits away, compressing the image horribly. I have similar mics and never had much luck with them.
