The Guardian's forestry of virtue and danger

Hey everyone,
Its been a while since I last published a level. This one in particular took me about 4 months to make.
I'm very proud of how it turned out IMHO. I hope everyone who plays this level understand and appreciates the time and effort it took creating this. This level is very detailed and challenging, so any of you looking for a platform based challenge level, then look no further. But in all seriousness, I hope you guys and gals have fun playing it. Please rate according to the visuals and the gameplay and not so much how hard this level is. My youngest who's 6 can complete the level so I know everyone else should be able to do the same.

I will do feedback for anyone who asks. Please be honest in your feedback and I will do the same.

P.S. There is a boss fight at the end that took me a month to build with all the logic and detail put into it.

Very well put together. The great visuals and gameplay complimented the story perfectly. Most of the platforming was unique too and perfectly fit the overall theme of the level. And it was wrapped up with an awesome boss fight! Overall, I felt the effort and time you put into the level showed in the end. Don't let the number of plays discourage you because this level was truly better than most of the one ups on cool pages.
-The only small problem I had was right in the beginning with the first obstacle where the platforms are created and you jump across the small rows of spikes. When you reach the end, the material in the layer behind is kinda cut in and indented so when I jumped the final spike towards the next platform, I fell back into that layer behind and fell through the level. Considering I can barely understand what I wrote in there you probably won't, but if you'd like to see what I meant feel free to message me on here or through PSN.

Good luck with the rest of your levels! Hope for some more great ones!

This was great!

-Nice, good looking levels with a great deal of roots, forgotten bridges and vines, not to mention the clever useage of the Sticker panel material!
- Great boss fight! Loved every minute of it
-Gameplay was tough, but nothing I couldnt handle, although some of the areas could be tweaked to have a little better sync to them. (I.e the area where the platforms are switching in and out and then theres a sponge monkey bar area. Increasing the amount of time the sponge away from the fire is a good change.)
-Music was great, although I already had an idea of what kind of soundtrack i was in for if velvet-Audio was making it.

Thanks for the review. I'm a little confused about the area you recommend to add time to the sponge area away from the fire as you stated. Exactly what part of my level is it?

Well, its kind of hard to pinpoint with a simple explanation, but its in the area with the little fish moving around on the wall. The rising/ falling sponge area was a little too quick.

I played this level a couple of hours ago and it is exciting. The visuals looked great thanks to some nice ideas like the moving trilobite stickers and cool waterfall 3D layer. The platforming is nicely polished, too. The boss battle is fun to battle, but one thing that makes it easy to beat is that players can shoot water at the bubble brains on the hand, making them aim at the hand while near the other. Great job.

I played this level a couple of hours ago and it is exciting. The visuals looked great thanks to some nice ideas like the moving trilobite stickers and cool waterfall 3D layer. The platforming is nicely polished, too. Glad you liked it. I wanted to give every player a sense of gratification knowing the boss battle was challenging, yet simple enough to beat once you get the hang of it. I've got your "Cybernetic Adventures Omega" qued so I'll have that review shortly. Thanks again

excellent level Tripple. Very well designed and fun gameplay throughout. I had a little trouble with that section where the insect is dropping blocks behind it and you have to quickly get over the spike traps. I don't know why, but I died 15 times here. Sorry bout that, I wanted to increase the height of the ceilings and distance of the spikes from each other but the level was already 90% complete before realizing that might be an issue. I'll see if there's a way I can do that without redoing too much of that section. Thanx for the review and play
