An open world full of adventure awaits you. The year is 2017 and global conflict has recently erupted. Earth has become overcrowded and polluted beyond repair. Humanity's last hope lies in the recent discovery of a time rift. In a last ditch effort to save all of mankind, one family has been sent 85 million years into the past to start over. However, those in 2017 have lost contact with the family and have sent you to locate them. Are you up to the task?

The future of mankind rests on your shoulders. In this upcoming series, you will scrounge for food, outlast the dinosaurs, and search for a family in need. Survival of the fittest makes all the difference.

This level was inspired by the hit television series Terra Nova. Special thanks to the producers of the show and the testers of my level. I couldn't have made this without you.

I've been waiting for this. I'll see if it was worth the hype when I'm done creating my level.2012-02-15 01:17:00

My thoughts:

-Greatest intro ever in LBP PSP

-You must have spent a ton of time on that grass, though it was a bit annoying to walk on

-The city silhouette animation and the family were very impressive

-The visuals looked a little rushed at times, like in the wood structure, but were mostly very good

-Those blue crystal-like structures were in interesting touch

-I don't follow Terra Nova so I feel like I may be missing some stuff

-Too bad it's so short; I can't wait for the next level.

That was a great prologue! I'm not one for giving feedback, so... all I can say is 5 :star: and a <3

P.S. I hope the rest of the levels are a bit longer.

P.P.S. <-- That's funny right there.

This sounds weird, especially since this is your first level, but I agree with metsfan in that your intro was one of the best, if not the best ever on PSP. In addition, I was stunned by the visuals throughout the level. The only other thing I noticed was the slightly challenging platforming, but that could just be my lack of skills in that area. Anyways, great job! Sadly, I don't have time for a full review now, but the :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 rating was well deserved here. =]2012-02-15 23:48:00

This is actually a really cool level, visually superb

It lacked any real gameplay but the bubble combos are enough to keep us going. Only real problem was the grass, it was difficult to walk on and I think would look better if it was just a single thin layer.

Still, I can't wait for the rest of these levels :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3
Good luck with the rest of the series

I've already made adjustments fixing this issue in the next level. Thank you for expressing your concern.

I've played the level and seen the show, but the level is definitely only partially based off the series and it says everything you really need to know in the level I think.

You're right. He's just like you. I think he meant he was going to fix his next levels, not change this one. Although if what unc mentioned is what you meant, AceCrafter, I wouldn't recommend it seeing how great the level is doing now ratings-wise.

Yeh. Even though I haven't played the level, updating may help with level promotion. Especially since, from what I hear, it has great ratings. If you make it better, it may get even more plays and creator hearts for you.2012-02-16 22:45:00

This was a very good level, liked the cutscene intro to the beginning. I really see a lot of similarities between you and unc.

...Just saw unc is making a zombie level, better get mine out before him.

Mine won't be out soon. So you don't have to hurry.
Mine is for the Apocalypse Series. Plus it is the last level of the series being relesed.

Because that is what the ultimate goal of creating is, right? Sigh....

I know anyone can say that, but realistically, you have to admit that there is some sense of satisfaction in having a lot of plays and hearts; it just shouldn't be your top priority.

Anyway, @Acecrafter: glad to see you're responding to feedback. I have very high expectations for this series if this is just the prologue.

I found the secret switch. Now if only I could get that high score...

Anyone else noticed the hidden acronyms in Ace's post?
scrounge for food + outlast dinosaurs + search for the family = SOS

And then in the picture:
adapt + create + escape = ACE

Maybe it's nothing, but I just thought it was kinda cool...

Well that's unfortunate. I thought it was a pretty good show too, oh well.

EDIT: I just read that another network might (and probably will) pick up the show for a second season.
