Hey guys, I recent discovered kind of a flaw in my survival level that i'm going to fix tonight when i get home from work it really enables people to cheat and pretty get as high of a score as they want. I was wondering is there any way to reset the scoreboard after I do, I'm guessing maybe just delete it and make a new one but IDk if that will do it since i'm at work and cant test it.

I'm pretty sure the only way to reset it is to republish your level to a new location and delete the old one. It will also reset your plays and hearts though, so I'd probably wait for a second opinion before doing it.

Oh well I guess it should do well again if i have to but i really hope thats not the only way **** MM for just not adding a reset scoreboard feature

Although I can't verify it...never tried. I thought you could delete the scoreboard in your level and add a new one to reset the scores without having to delete your level.

Although I can't verify it...never tried. I thought you could delete the scoreboard in your level and add a new one to reset the scores without having to delete your level. thats all i thought i would have to do. also good advice if that doesnt do the trick clank i think those solutions might work. i cant wait to go home and try!

Try republishing it without a Scoreboard, then again with it? i havnt tried this one yet but i deleted it and made a new one and that didnt do anything...im scared becasue they are all hosted online not in the scoreboard itself so i might be screwed...im going to implement a new system tonight to eliminate the other exploitable thing in my level. and then i think i should be all squared away. anyone else have any ideas or anything?

If they made it too easy to reset scoreboards, then some jealous creators might keep resetting the scoreboard whenever someone beats their high scores. That's me trying to rationalise the decision. Or maybe they just never thought of it. Reposting from a new crator does not reset the scoreboard. That way you can publish from a back up spot and it will still keep the same high scores. I guess though it would be kind of handy to reset the scores if people have found some expolit, and then a later patch comes and removes that exploit... but I can just see a 12 year old with an ego resetting the scoreboard whenever they get jealous.
