I'm asking because I need help with the trophy "fast rexecution". I took my stopwatch, my dad and the last MGS4 level pack. I start fighting him, dad starts stopwatch.... I defeated Metal Gear Rex and my dad stopped the stopwatch. 1 minute 51 seconds. And I didn't get the trophy! help....

You get the trophy when you finish the level. I'm also pretty sure that you have to finish the whole level in the time limit.

It's challenging. I can't even manage to beat the MGR in 2 mins 30 seconds(from beginning of fight to when he's destroyed.

I can do most of this fight in a short time but its the last stage which I have difficulties with (when he has the super turret firing and you have to jump)

The only thing I have left to do (Trophy wise) for the MGS levels is this one and also I need to ACE REX as well Don't think I'll ever do either

Acing Rex I found not so tough. You just have to be slow and patient. Take your time. Don't try to earn those 2 trophies at the same time.

I tried it about 10 times until I got the trophy and I got it at the end of the level so I'm pretty sure you have to do the whole level in 2.30. The only way to do this is to destroy the first three weak spots the first time they're out. For the fourth, you can aim your gun so that you will hit him both if he's up or down. Just keep jumping as often as you can. And hurry with destroying the "level spammers" too. I found that only the third weak spot was hard to destroy the first time. It's hard but if you try some times you should get it.

It may be faster to defeat him with more than one player. Try it with a buddy, two guns are better than one. Good luck!
