@RabidCoot : Just watched a gameplay video on 3D Dot Game Heroes and they literally don't look anything alike, aside from the voxel graphics.

3D Dot Game Heroes is more like a tribute to Zelda as there is no freedom of adventure. You choose which path you want to go, you wait for it to load the next area, fight the monsters, rinse and repeat. It doesn't even have multiplayer.

Cube World is going to have multiplayer, weapon customization, character customization (hopefully), and you'll be able to build houses (with blueprints).

I'd compare Cube World more to Minecraft in terms of adventure, but then again, it's nothing like Minecraft.		2012-02-12 20:32:00
