I just thought that it would be cool to try to make remixes of songs, I got insparation from a guy called "Dj Cutmam" (you can find his music on sound cloud). So I wanted to know if anyone knows how to mix music and has a free program I can use?

Hello Lark. I do a bit of music making and mixing but I don't know much about digital software. However, off the top of the head I do know that.... Audacity is a free and basic program that allows you to record, cut, paste and tweak sounds and music into layers. Suitable to remixing and sequencing. Ultramixer is a basic '2 turntable and a mixer' setup for MP3's that is (probably) easy to download for free. Not suitable for remixing but it gives you everything you need to mix 2 tracks together on the fly. GarageBand is always good fun for making basic music from scratch. Or you could combine all 3 and become an audio wizard! I hope this helps somehow.
