Hobo Warrior - LBP2 Edition

Archive: 4 posts

The last of my old LBP1 levels fixed up to work properly in LBP2, with some added tweaks and visual upgrades. Not the least of which is infinite lives, which definitely comes in handy in this level. Got some fairly hardcore platforming challenges here, and it's long. It's definitely doable, though, and the checkpoints aren't far apart.

It could be decent level if difficulty at appearing blocks scene would be easier.2012-02-09 23:36:00

Eghmm ... The Intro was really nice, and the atmosphere too, but its just a tad too difficult at times.

Some tips, when making them speech sequences, make use of one shot mode

Yeah, I might go back and tweak the speech stuff to make better use of the LBP2 engine too. For the moment I wanted to make the gameplay work! Thanks.

It doesn't help me much just to have someone go "some bits are too difficult", though What specifically did you have trouble with? Depending on the section, I know it can be pretty easy to tweak something so it's easier... It's often simply a matter of decreasing the length of a jump or something.

Thanks! And as with the previous post, what did you have trouble with here? It IS a challenge (there's a reason why all the checkpoints are infinite), but the whole thing's supposed to be made so that each "chunk" of platforming is just a few jumps long. If people are getting stuck on a particular bit, though, that's definitely tweakable.
