Hello, I am trying to figure out the best way to make an effect which looks like shimmering water with lights. Not the water itself, but so it looks like it's reflecting onto a wall. My current setup is a simple tag wheel and leds, but I can't seem to get the timing right, not to mention that I can't put too many more lights in place. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

oops, I would make a new thread in the LBP2 Help section, probably get more replies. I was thinking, what about the holo material. Cut up and set to either sequencer or timers, you might be able to make a cool shimmering effect.

This is posted in the LBP1 section so he either doesn't have LBP2 or he makes his level in LBP1. Man, all people answer questions on LBP1 with LBP2 logic.

Not to sure but lights might be effective ,maybe try try using the spoghtlight and stick it in the background layers. Just a thought,not even sure if it even comes out good but thats what I would do

HE/SHE DOES NOT HAVE LBP2! This is posted in the LBP1 section so he either doesn't have LBP2 or he makes his level in LBP1. Man, all people answer questions on LBP1 with LBP2 logic. before you stick your nose in and start yelling at someone, do some research or ask. I know for a fact this person has LBP2. She PM'd me this question and I said I didn't know how and to ask in the HELP section. She accidentally put it in here. A simple click of her LBP.me profile would tell you that she has LBP2. A simple way to do it is a hidden light, just place the light somewhere out of sight. Aim it to the wall and ta da... You can also place it into the water, so the efect is more realistic. But if it is a lbp2 lvl, you can just use holo, I only think this wouldn't look very realistic.
