I have a list of ideas I always have with me but I rarely talk about them since I like to keep them for me. But one of them was pokemon. I'm not a HUGE fan of them and I never played the games but I know how epic it is to some younger peoples. I watched a few episode when my little brother was watching them and I liked the concept of pokemon. I wondered if some people wanted to team up to make a level or if everyone just wanted to brain storm about the subject and anyone who want to use it could do so. I came up to 2 ideas 1. A adventure game where you play the main char with the red cap from the first episode where he gets pikachu at the lab an then you gotta drag pikachu to kill some boss or it appears from nowhere when you need it 2. Or the second idea is a pokemon arena where you would be more of a spectator that watch animated pokemon fight with cheap special effect BRAINSTORM IT

I would imagine it more being a Sackboy fighting the pokemon, with occasional help from pokemon allies, like, maybe using a Snorlax as a trampoline, or a vehicle level in a rolling Geodude or something... I can't believe I still remember all the stupid names.

I was thinking about doing a level, where at the beginning two players choose the pokemans they want, and then you press buttons to do attacks.

I can't believe I still remember all the stupid names. That'd be the best way to do it IMO. Or similar to the pokemon Ranger games in which different types of pokemon have different "abilities". So say fire pokemon could be dangerous and you have to avoid their tail or something. Water pokemon could fire out blue gases (although I think that a patch made it impossible to make blue gas) And then you'd have the pokemon that could help you such as those mentioned in the above quote....

Pokemon level huh? I've gotten a few ideas before, but never really thought them through. One was to actually use other sackpeople as the pokemon, bringing them around the level in some kind of ball shaped container, using them to fight things, but...eh, seemed too complex.

You could make a game where Sackboy is a new type of pokemon and he has to defeat all the other pokemon. That would be cool. Make sure to include an epic mudkip to battle. >_>
