PS3's REALLY hate me!

| I just need to vent a bit... The PS3 I currently use which belongs to my brother has corrupted and formatted itself on start-up on the early morning of my birthday, that's great isn't it! I think this is the 4th time a PS3 has corrupted and formatted everything (beside profiles) on the PS3. I don't know what to say it's just meh... I can still get an old LBP save off my PS plus online backup thing that may or may not be there and if I can ever bother to pay for PS plus again. | I used to turn off my old PS3 by flicking the switch at the back and after a while I figured out that was causing the problem but then my dog kind of mauled it. On my brothers PS3 I am turning it off by either holding the power button or holding the PS button on the controller and selecting Turn off system. It's weird though because I get the "You turned off the system wrong" (or something like that) message on my brothers slim PS3 more than I would have gotten it on my old PS3 even though I am turning it off right all the time. | 2012-02-06 16:29:00 Author: Darkcloudrepeat Posts: 606 |

| The PS3 seems to have an anti-corruption shutdown measure, if you shut it down normally when it's accessing the HDD it won't shut down completely for a while until it's safe to do so.
