Notice the lack of music ?!?! That is because you have not created the back ground tune for this level yet. Send me a PM for more information on how you can assist and contribute to the level.

We're working on this level in our spare time. Currently there isn't a TBA for the release date yet. To expedite the release of this level you can do your part, even if it is some thing you might think is silly or to small, pitch it our way. Good at decorating ?! Welcome on board ! Good at collage & putting two stick stickers together ?!?! Welcome to the Robin Hood series. All credit for any participation will be credited at the end of the level in a rolling format.

*Edit update*
we've spent a good portion of the day working on some concepts for the level series. Also with a little bit of help from Killa Nelson.

looks like it could be very good. I can't offer any help as I'm currently working on a multiplayer project with a friend, and due to time constraints I'm only on ps3 for about an hour a week. If you ever need someone to test it though, send me a pm!2012-02-07 17:47:00

Hmmm, I think it sounds and looks an interesting idea. Working on another project, but be happy to help out too. On around 11.30pm GMT usually, feel free to get in touch in game and i can help out. sean882012-02-08 00:16:00

Wonderfull. Working on some of the sound FX right now. I'm not sure what time 11:30pm GMT is, in relation to EST. No problem though. What I can do is send you what I do have so far, a striped down version since I don't know what DLC you have or do not have. I'll leave all the logic and every thing in place, just going to remove the stickers and decorations.

Wish I could offer my hand, but I'm unfortunately swamped with the work I'm doing on my own projects, and in addition, my times and connection are chaotic. I wish you luck though.2012-02-08 05:16:00

Nice level waiting for full game!

Thanks Jaki, I hope to update you all on a regular basis; bi-weekly is what im shooting for.

I'm still plugging away at this level, slowly but surely. I was able to extend the level into the dungeon-ish area. By my count that is four sections into the intro level. My goal is to have five sections built before I release it for Beta testing. The ETA for the testing is looking close towards the end of this month, February. I've spent the last two days in the dungeon putting up ambient lighting, sounds FX & player rigging. I hope to be able to knock this section out over the week end & host another YT video. If not I'll post some screen shots of the progress.

http://i6.lbp.me/img/fl/b16ee963dd0dbd4ce9526f110f6b531bbb6cf8f3.jpg

At the start of the current section there is a brief dialog between Sir Guy of Gisborne & the player via a cut scene. It'll take place just before he drops a boulder down a hatch that sends the player rampaging towards the end of the dungeon. In other words its a playable "chase scene" with a rock runing after you.

http://if.lbp.me/img/fl/a3f9428771354d26912fc101cb9b2b5006170562.jpg

I believe I have all the quirks worked out of the logic to pull it off. That just leaves me to work on the actual dialoguing of the Sir Guy cut scene, & some minor detail decorating.

http://i1.lbp.me/img/fl/2b1cc03abb7420a7215717a87b80d93c1ac52a35.jpg

How ever on a dull note, I could still use a few people that are interested in stopping by some time, just to check up on the progress (in game) and offer some suggestions/tweak or general chit chat. Oh yea and some one who is good with the musical sequencer to help me set the tone. I may try and pitch this to Christian Da Drum, even though I know he is super busy.

Me and Rot_In spent a good portion last night working on the sound FX and logic details for the fourth section of the project. The fourth section has the boulder that chases the player.

Several attempts of trail and errors not to mention the ever annoying part where the boulder would turn and run from us, we finally were able to get that knocked out! It should turn out to be an epic run through of the dungeon.

The current project we're working on is slated for a five section level (to keep the thermo down). All the sections thus far are 90%-98% complete which means we can begin working on the fifth part of the level. The boss battle!

Since we're limited I'm bringing up the idea of using a dragon controlled by Sir Guy to serve as the boss battle. Very similar to how Da Vinci did with the mechanical monkey.

(Concept tweet for the fifth section)

(Concept of Sir Guy: you guys remember him from the first posting?)

We actually had a rather large turn out today on this project, so many that I had lost count. Seemed like every one was stopping by to say hi & chip in on the building of the beast.

There is still a ton of work to be done with the Mechanical Dragon, thank fully we were able to knock out a large portion of it. Special thanks goes to Rot In who pulled over time working his fingers on the logic needed to bring the animal to life.

Killa Nelson lent us his hands on the concept building phase of the dragon while Prysin was busy ignoring the action of Dre3001's friends dropping bombs on the entire project.

We were able to pass out a few more Beta key for the playable demo of the level so far, one of which went out to our newest member etd1312 who was able to stop by early in the morning (USA time) and demonstrate some of logicteering on some of the concept mechanics of the dragon.

All in all it was a fun exciting day for the entire team. Sakura made a special last minute appearance to support the few remaining members who were plugging away on the project and to give us a little bit of info on the up coming LBNews levels.

With out further delay here are a few pictures of the progress of the constructionade today:

http://id.lbp.me/img/fl/62d28863c1bb2ea0033526daa1071827b9447027.jpg

You can see how the dragon had morphed from one point to another. Like I said we still have a ton of work left. Right now its a naked Dragon....thats right I said it, Naked Dragon Porn.[/u]

The Boss battle mechancis should go some thing like that in the Dark Dragon Boss fight.

The progress on the level continues. There is a revised edition published out now. Just a few minor updates to the scenery. We're working on wrapping this level up soon. We spent the last few nights working in the last section leading to the epic boss battle & working on the Boss it self.

(Rot check out your in game item I sent you of the update we have worked on for the boss. Let me know if an thing seems a bit off or needs work/improvement.)

Patch build notes march 1, 2012

Removed sword from the 2nd section, & replaced it with a functioning knight (pull the sword for a few surprises).
Built the fourth section complete with sewage water fall, bridge, splashes & sound FX.
Added in sneak peek for the boss & one extra Bot announcing the arrival.
Removed debris from the bottom of the level to reduce lag/thermo space.
Added sound FX to the Boss.
Tweaked some minor logic on the Boss to make it more functional.

Things to work on for the team:

Single Player Only System for Non-Sackbot Platformers

http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w483/LBPNetwork/singleplayer.jpg
http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w483/LBPNetwork/singleplayercheckpoints.jpg

Remove arrow indicating which way to go after the boulder chase.
Add in cut scene & dialog for the boulder chase scene for Sir Guy running off to the final section.
Complete musical score for two sections.
Complete final section for the epic boss battle.
Capture & emitting the level into sections to further reduce lag/thermo.
Add in opening cut scene/dialog.

As you can see there isn't much left until this first level is ready to be properly beta tested. The only thing holding the team back at this point is time zone issues, time & real life work. Despite all that we're making good progress. I did skip out on creating an update youtbue video of the progress so far, last week end. I'll keep every one updated on when the next video is out.

Me & Etd set out today working on a concept menu scheme for the up coming level. It's in the infancy stage obviously at this point. Although once finished it should include such things as a credits selection complete with a level link going to every one's main page who has been involved in the project (no matter how little or big their help). I suspect it would include a sub menu since we are gathering an army of LBNers working on the project.

Death_Knell0106 (http://lbp.me/u/Death_Knell0106) came through for us on a concept logo. He does do requests, for any one interested.
