sackperson has flame activated, can't turn off, can't join community levels

Hi:

Today my niece was playing LBP 2. Someone she was playing with put flame on her sackperson, just as you can do with an object. So if she touches another sackperson, they will burn. She also can not join any community levels. When her sackperson tries to initially enter a level through the portal, her sackperson just won't come through it. I went into her moon with her sackperson (I as a guest with our 2nd remote) and went into my tool bag, and opened the "unleathalize" tool. but when I put it on her and click it, nothing happens. I put another object on the screen and activated it with flame and I could deactivate the flame by using the unleathalize, so I know it works on other objects.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to deactivate this flame and also how to allow entry to community levels again?

Per the above referenced thread, I followed the directions by Pivott to try and turn this flame off.
I spawned the flaming sackperson in her pod with controller 1. Spawned a 2nd sackperson as guest with controller 2. Clicked the "PS logo" on 1, selected "shut off this controller", pressed "X". After a few seconds, the flaming sackperson blew up and disappeared. Restarted controller 1 and her sackperson with flames appeared again. I tried the same thing after going to a MyMoon level with the same results. When I open the popit on the MyMoon level, I notice a flaming sackperson icon on the lower right. When I select it, a "hold to retry" message appears and if I press "x", my sackperson blows up, the reappears.

Something else I need to do differently? Thanks.

Here's a solution that worked for another community member.


Alright, so the friend of mine spawned the same device used to delethalize sackpeople who intentionally used the lethal sackboy glitch. He prepared an entrance, which was suspended by dark matter and covered in anti-lethalization tweakers, and instructed me to turn off my controller. I did, and after my sack went poof, so to speak, I turned it back on. While I was spawning, my friend was essentially spamming me with tweakers, several of which somehow attached to me. This cured me. Then, all I had to do was pop, and they were gone, as well as my fire-induced SPC! Hopefully my experience will help others in the future!
