Jack, don't do it. It's not worth the pain of actually trying to play the game. It's awful and broken. MGS4 best story? Meh. I knew it was going to get it, but I can't say I agree. The rest are pretty spot on though, except what MGS4 won...

Pretty accurate I suppose. I haven't played every one of those games, but most of them. I'm actually a little disappointed that Metal Gear won so many awards, it's awesome, I love it, and have been a fan of Metal Gear since my older brothers brought home the first game on NES, but still, I think it's silly to choose it for half of the awards.

I'm actually a little disappointed that Metal Gear won so many awards, it's awesome, I love it, and have been a fan of Metal Gear since my older brothers brought home the first game on NES, but still, I think it's silly to choose it for half of the awards. Well, I would have been surprised if it hadn't won the best game award, LittleBigPlanet aside. The game is a cumulation of a best selling series spanning 2 decades with a huge following/fanbase. However, this has been a great year for the PS3 in terms of games. All but one game that's getting nods for "Game of the Year" across all platforms is available on the PS3 AND, LittleBigPlanet and MGS4 are front running many lists. Maybe they should've split the award? IMO both games are equally deserving of the Game of the Year award. But hey at least it's not GTA IV winning it now is it?
