FPS Horror!

Archive: 8 posts

EDIT: Walking into the walls will no longer break things.

This is a horror level that takes full advantage of the FPS glitch. Think silent hill, indoor style gameplay. Overall, I think it's been a pretty good experiment. Please try it

I'll do 15 feedbacks.

whoever made that copyable FPS room with the paintballs.
that would be me http://lbp.me/u/evret/levels
also you can fix the issue when touching walls by removing the collisions on the player in the rotating room

Thanks man. I did work that out myself, but was reluctant because it would mean I'd have to get rid of the torch which was glued to the front of the player's camera. Oh well. It works a lot better now. Thanks for working out how to make all of this work dude.

i'm pretty sure u can turn the light source to gas, if not you could always use the ghost glitch coz the player and torch dont have to move, though you may not b able to turn the light off afterwards. worth checking out anyway

I have a light source below the camera, that all works good, really the torch (the actual torch from the lighting objects) didn't have an essential role other than it looked kinda cool sticking out in front of the camera. Problem was, it collided with walls before the player did and broke/spun out. Increasing the "invisible wall" width or whatever on the replicant platform to stop the torch from hitting the wall didn't really work either, because sidestepping towards the wall halts the player at an annoying distance from where he should actually stop. So I'm trying to make a torch out of decorations instead, hopefully I'll make a decent looking one.

And I noticed you played the level on my friend djurol's account what did you think of that? (I made bits of that too)
