Welcome to the latest brand new, shiny Episode of the Spotlight! We want to start by thanking you all for your support for the Spotlight Hub we published ingame last week. We can?t tell you how chuffed we were with the positive reception it got and ?hubbie? is clearly a star in the making. Let?s just hope he/she doesn?t get an agent and start asking for commission! Most importantly, though, it made a huge difference to the levels featured. Every single one has now got over 3,000 plays, even those that had less than a hundred before the Hub went live. So YAY! This Episode we?ve tried to direct some of that attention towards the honourable mentions too and so the Hub features a nifty ?Nodinator? which will generate random nods from this fortnight?s Episode at the push of a button. Mr_Fusion is the genius behind that cool bit of tech so a big thanks to him and to rialrees for again producing the Hub. Spaff will be posting it in the Newsfeed ingame on Monday. In the meantime here's (http://lbp.me/v/9v8y9r)a link to the Hub. It may be locked for a short while after this thread is posted but we'll be unlocking as soon as we can!

Without further ado, then, on to this fortnights?s Episode which is massive and positively groaning under the weight of all the awesome levels you guys have been publishing! ENJOY!

http://i8.lbp.me/img/bl/0d845e4fac7807c4682e4876b0c9d57539a21b36.pngSKUNK FACTORY [ 3 ] RevealationBobTox Escape and discover the secret of the Skunk Factory. 15 minutes of exclusive gameplay... The Boss is so generous ! Have fun.

Ah, I'll sit back with a relaxing can of Skunk and just play some LBP, mmm it sure is tangy. I wonder what is in this anyway? Soylent Green may be people, the new question is just what is Skunk? Jump, bounce, swim, get flung across and be electrocuted occasionally while you make your way to the very bowels of the Skunk Factory to discover the truth. An amusing continuation of a stellar series. One that should not be passed up.The Rabelaisian tale continues as you attempt to escape the clutches of that rip-roaring villain, the Boss. This episode plumbs the depths of the factory and also of the Boss?s iniquity. Perils are narrowly escaped, horrifying secrets come to light and a stomach pump is desperately needed! Fans of the little guy with the Mozart hair-do will be pleased to know he too makes a brief but dramatic appearance. It's hard to know what to admire most about these levels: the wonderfully detailed - and wonderfully gross - settings, the way the gameplay is so brilliantly woven into the story (like the electric hazard which is not just some random electrified object but caused by a string of fairy lights falling into a pool), or the story itself with its compelling, larger than life characters and robust humour. It all adds up to one pretty amazing and...erm, piquant...experience!When I saw that the next series in this was out, I knocked over a chair, 2 lamps and both my 5 year olds trying to get to my PS3. Ok, let me rephrase that before one of ya?ll calls the ?laws? on me for child endangerment. I politely asked my twins to move so that I could play this level. This chapter in the Skunk Factory series is my personal favorite. As usual, Bobtox has filled this level to the brim with so much detail that it will take you several playthroughs to see it all. The gameplay itself is just fantastic with plenty of action to keep you grinning from ear to ear. And wait till you learn the secret of this factory. If you think I?m telling, then you?re in over your head.

http://id.lbp.me/img/bl/15d9ae5ebe2b90947497abe009a1b41d68b6bfc0.pngLIBERA TORCuzFeeshe Terrain-based Side Scrolling Adventure! Can you infiltrate the enemies stronghold and liberate Earth from the Alien invaders? Difficulty: Hard!

Forget all about those other side scrolling shooter levels because this one takes the cake! Not only is it fun coupled together with a nice little back story, but it also packs a serious challenge for anyone who dares to go for the high score. Saving the human race has never been this much fun! I like me a good side scrolling shooter, I stink at them, but I like them all the same. I love the ?pew, pew, pew? sounds and blowing up little tanks and ships. Cuzfeeshe, yeah you read right, Cuzfeeshe, a name we haven?t seen in the showcase thread in a long time, but here he is with an excellent choice in side scrolling action. Everything is well designed, from the awesome terrain and enemy equipment to your trusty rocket ship. The gameplay is diverse, fun, and oh so unforgiving. You?ll need to keep your wits and hone those reflexes in order to dominate this one. The level kind of reminds me of an old game by the name of Earth 2500?hmm. Go check it out, you?ll love it! I wish I could claim some street cred by saying this level takes me back to my days of playing super hard arcade games like...erm... *surreptitiously looks up reviews*... Scramble and Super Cobra but I suspect I wouldn't get away with it! So I can?t comment on whether Liberator nails the vibe of those classic games but as a player coming new to this type of level I still had a blast. The controls are simple and easy to pick up, the difficulty lies in getting past the seemingly infinite hazards. And it's not just the enemies with their lasers, tanks and dog-fighting skills you have to worry about here. No, the very terrain is against you and you?ll groan as once AGAIN you clip the wall of those tricky winding tunnels and KABOOM, another life's gone. This is definitely not a button masher where simply random blasting will get you through, skill and perseverance are required. The visuals are simple as befits the genre but I loved checking out all the detail and stickering on the enemies (oops, there?s another life gone!). So if you?re up for a shooter with a difference, play this level. It has bags of challenge, heaps of varied gameplay, a cool boss fight at the end (so I?m told *cough*) and is simply a blast to play!

http://i6.lbp.me/img/bl/0f6df528e8b4ad90e7e72a5c534021472a6d06ab.pngWhere Angels Play (1 Player Only)Just_Tom__ Come with me to a place no eyes have ever seen...

With this level Just_Tom__ goes back to basics both in the materials used - cardboard, wood and sponge ? and in nailing exactly what makes platforming fun! Angels obviously have very refined tastes. Their playground is plain but made subtly beautiful by some lovely touches: the odd curlicue, pale violet lighting and a gorgeous sticker panel background that looks like coloured snowflakes. The focus though is on the gameplay. The angels apparently enjoy a bit of platforming in their spare time and Just_Tom__ does them proud with an innovative and fluid design which makes fantastic use of bouncepads and injects real movement into the gameplay. It's clever and supremely entertaining stuff. So polish up your halo, gatecrash the angels? playground and see just what fun they have when they?re not on duty! This is classic platforming at its greatest. The degree of creativity pumped into a level like this is unbelievable. Smart, neat, and wonderful gameplay elements, beautifully simple visuals, and a whole lot of love for creating. DO NOT let this one pass you by. It's easy to see why I?m so addicted to Little Big Planet after playing this level. Good googa mooga This was fun! The whole time I was like Cookie Monster yelling, ?Moar!? and Just_Tom gave me more. Every new section was a delight to go through as Tom implemented a new contraption for me to play on. I loved the design of this level as well. Just the basics here folks. Wood, cardboard and sponge, oh and some great sticker panel work. So simple, yet complex and beautiful at the same time. This is a platformer?s dream and is just sitting there waiting for you to queue it up.

http://ia.lbp.me/img/bl/97a37180a818501476a29949d45eae8bb8a4f8be.pngCybern etic Adventures Omega Intro: The Cybernetic WarJustinArt The ultimate battle for Cyber World is about to begin. As Team Hardware uses Sector Sigma's gateway to enter Sector Omega, they'll give the viruses a surprise attack like no other. The "Cybernetic Adventures" four-part series finale starts in this epic movie.

Dang it! Another reason I?m addicted to Little Big Planet. Don?t you people want me to get help? Every time I turn around there is another awesome level to play. I had so much fun playing this series that I really didn?t want to see it end. I've followed these characters through many perilous adventures and have become engrossed in the story. In this, the series? four part finale, you?ll traverse a wide variety of landscapes that are just phenomenal, and platform across amazing obstacles and contraptions, all the while fighting or avoiding beastly viruses! It all comes to a head when you finally reach ?Malicious? and have a battle to end all battles in your fight for Cyberworld. An awesome series that is sure to bring a smile to your face. Like Biorogue, I've been following Team Hardware through their adventures all the way from Alpha Sector through to the finale here in Omega. And finales don't get more thrilling than this one. Sector Omega is an ominous place ? lowering, tawny orange skies, volcanoes and huge piles of scrap everywhere ? and it's overrun with hordes of Viruses. The stage is set for a gripping confrontation between good and evil and that?s just what we get. I really don't know how JustinArt manages to cram so much into these levels. Each one is filled with cracking gameplay, cool effects, fun cinematics and great visuals. One minute you?re firing missiles at a spaceship, the next you?re dodging massive laser balls fired by the biggest robot EVAR and then you?re in the throes of a truly epic four stage boss fight with Malicious. These last 4 levels are a great end to a great LBP series. Heroes wanted! Rally to this call to arms and play it now. You?ll have a blast.

http://ie.lbp.me/img/bl/69efd41d8d8172d408055cd17e438cda21f8fda5.png[LBPC6] A Demon's Parlay: (Lv3) Molock's MireAlley_Cat_8633 After claiming the ashes of royalty, sackthing winds up in the murky waters of Molock's Mire. An ominous tower stands in the distance. The Moonlight Lilly awaits at the top, but, will sackthing survive the ancient gaurdians protecting it? This is level 3 of our teams LBPC6 contest entry. Visit Velvet_Audio for lv 1, L1GhTmArE for lv 2, and Smasher1116789 for lv 4. CHECK MY HEARTED LIST TO FIND THE OTHER LEVELS QUICKLY.

Alley_Cat and .Co have done the impossible and created the level series that is going to lay heavy damage into the LBPC6 competition. This series has jaw dropping visuals, engaging gameplay and tons of atmosphere. This is gonna be a hard one to beat! This level jumped up and bit right square on the bottom! It lulled me into a false sense of security with stunning visuals wrapped around a serene environment. Not long into my exploration and I was greeted by one horrendous creature the likes of which I have never seen! I was able to get past the beast and dang if he didn?t show up again, this time madder than a hornet and one thought on his brain..devour ole Biorogue! Biorogue is no fool though and quickly got his behind outta there! This is an adventure like no other and you?ll soon be swept up in the amazing visuals and even more amazing gameplay. Play it now! This level should come with a "Handle with caution" warning! It starts out in a lonely but eerily beautiful marsh, where gentle exploration and hunting for cunningly hidden secrets (aarrgh - still can?t get to those bubbles...nvm) are the order of the day. But the moment you trespass into the brooding tower of Molock?s Mire, all of that tranquillity is swept aside in one of the most thrilling and intense action set pieces in LBP. A huge demonic, centipede-like monster comes crashing out of the wall at you and the only way to escape is to bounce and grapple your way upwards to the top of the tower. Each time you think you?ve outpaced or outwitted it, it comes bursting out at you again from nowhere. The music ramps up the tension brilliantly and my heart was genuinely pumping as I battled onwards and upwards. Even in the midst of all the high drama, though, there are some wonderful moments of artistry which I won?t spoil by mentioning here. Amazing visuals and brilliant, adrenaline fuelled gameplay ? it's an awesome combination

http://ia.lbp.me/img/bl/1da0f3133aa70e7ff2afaa9316c4b8fe9284b2fb.png[LBPC6] A Demon's Parlay: (Lv2) Ascendant Ashes L1GhTmArE After gettting water from the old wishing well you seek out the next item in your long journey. Hopefully all goes well and your home village won't be doomed. This is the 2nd of a 4 level series. This series is brought to you by Alley_Cat_8633, smasher1116789, Velvet--Audio and myself.

L1ghtmare, you son of gun you. You know how badly I?m addicted to Little Big Planet and instead of helping me, you go and add fuel to the fire by dropping this gorgeous work of art in my lap. I cannot believe what I experienced with this level: joy, anger, excitement and pride, because I actually survived. Folks, this level is a masterpiece. It encompasses everything you?d want from a platformer. Stunning and detailed environments, smooth and well balanced gameplay, unique obstacles, perfect audio and lighting, fresh use of the grappling hook and quite possible the best dang boulder chase ever! It's like that thing had a mind of its own, as if it were hiding in the shadows waiting to leap out at me. Indiana Jones has nothing on this one. Part 2 of A Demon's Parlay and we find ourselves in paradise, right? Wrong! The sandy beaches and palm trees get left behind when you find yourself delving deep into a cave, and a spikey cave at that. Throw things and grapple your way past falling rocks, crumbling walkways and spike filled pits of death. These aren't just simple caves though, contraptions and traces of ancient construction create some interesting obstacles. It wouldn't be a cave without some boulders chasing you either and there's plenty of those to go around in here. Heck you'll even be swinging the things around and blowing walls up, the destruction is just superb. You'd be mad to miss this perilous platformer.

http://ie.lbp.me/img/bl/09e0ca960e5438bf76fed1d56caa7d226b1e29ec.pngGarden s of Lightse-mi92 A peaceful and relaxing level. Might be laggy with more than 2 players. Much thanks are going to Devilcryforce and Festerd_Jester for their wonderful music. I hope you enjoy

This level is as pretty as a picture ? prettier in fact because you get to wander about in it and explore all its loveliness up close. You have dropped into a garden of small islands floating and bobbing gently in the skies. Se-mi92 has done a wonderful job of creating a landscape that is naturalistic and at the same time magical. Gnarled trees, red roses growing out of the rocks, wrought iron railings and waterfalls, all bathed in a golden light ? the design is just stunning. The gameplay is relaxing too, release a few fairies, find some secret score bubbles and water some trees. Actually not wholly relaxing. Those trees have got an evil sense of humour. I watered one and it dropped a huge rock right on top of me! And some of the clouds have a nasty habit of dissolving under your feet. So, yes, a level which is strikingly beautiful and tranquil but with enough spice of danger to keep it interesting. A must play.I love jumping into a level and discovering that it's a fast paced, ?fling me around the stage? platformer, but I also adore levels such as this. They are beautiful to look at, fun to play and have a plot to boot. I was in awe of this level from the get go. The environment is quite simply stunning. I wish I could have stayed all day, but there was business to tend to, namely, rescuing the fairies from their prisons. Queue this level and enjoy some great platforming through a lush and charming landscape, er..skyscape.

http://i4.lbp.me/img/bl/4a409f98585b55f6a671f96e8b0636b50df3e1a0.png[LBPC6] A Demon's Parlay (LV4) Breaking The Oddssmasher1116789 Sackthing has just barely escaped Molock's Mire, and is gearing up for the conclusion to this adventure! Venture through a dangerous active volcano, while trying to fulfill the requirements to meet the terms of the demons parlay! Can you escape with all your limbs? This series is a collaboration between ALLEY_CAT_8633, L1GHTMARE, SMASHER1116789 and VELVET--AUDIO

Conclude the four part epic, A Demon's Parlay in this explosive finale. Quite literally you'll find yourself in the bowels of the a volcano and your sack thing will be getting blasted left, right and centre by violent eruptions. This leads to some fast paced and frantic action fit for such a harsh environment. Hardly a place you stand will remain solid and in position with floors crumbling, toppling and moving their way through deathly lava pools. So you better be quick on your feet and sharp eyed if you want to make it through this level in one piece. Not only that but the visuals are spot on and there's great tunes throughout, get ready for a thrill ride from beginning to end.
Woohoo, that was some ride! I?ll just sit down and get my breath back if you don't mind. That must be one of the most exhilarating and frantic platformers I've ever played. Volcanoes are unstable places at best and this one is no exception. Having gained entry from the strange, bony guardian, you must make your way through treacherous, lava-filled caverns where the ground is liable to explode under your feet, shooting you up in the air or blasting you sideways. Just when you think you have reached solid ground, whole rock structures quake and collapse around you or spin slowly round pitching you into the fiery depths. Add to this a mad snowboard-style ride on a slab of rock through the lava streams and you have one fast and furious action-packed level! The visuals are simple but capture the volcano feel perfectly and the music adds to the high tempo atmosphere. A fitting and exciting finale to a great series.

http://i8.lbp.me/img/bl/ff86ae5c609cb433015c33010e744889444c759d.pngLBL : C4G - STAR FORCE vr 2.0Headman-1000 This is STARFORCE ! Its a 1 or 2 player bullet hell shmup. You can select 6 unique ships. There are power ups an crazy bombs. Fight off large waves of enemies and 3 large bosses. This was a team project created by me and LOVERICE!! and everybody else that contributed to this. Soundtrack created by me. Oh yea MM PICKED BABY !!!!!! ^^ 95% Of glitches fixed. Loading time decreased 2 PLAYER recommended!!

You like shooters do ya? Well then, have I got the level for you. Actually, I want to see proof that this was really made within the confines of Little Big Planet because this is just unbelievable. This vertical shooter may be the best that I've come across in or out of LBP. I was blown away by everything about this game. The details on the ships, the sounds, the visuals and the rapid gameplay. I don't think I let off the ?fire? button not once! There are hoards and hoards of enemies who will bombard you with everything but the kitchen sink and I think I may have seen one of those fly by! Epic stages with epic boss battles await you in Star Force*Pew* *pew* *pew* Welcome to Star Force soldier. Welcome to the war. War is hell, and this is bullet hell. Quarter up and keep your wits about you as you team up with... well a buddy I guess... just try not to steal all the power-ups off of them. You?ll need all the help you can get as the screen explodes into shards of brightly lit blobs of death with your only option to mash fire as you hope to enter that shooter zen state of being no longer aware of the bullets, but still manage to avoid everything fired at you. Pro tip; make friends with Neo, that guy is pretty good a dodging bullets.

http://ie.lbp.me/img/bl/3fef520447ad1301c4c383ef267bbfdae8ea871b.pngMARBLE MADNESS - PYRAMID PERILS (6 axis) V 1.1brucethejam Guide your marble through this egyptian themed level, will you make it to the end? SIX AXIS controlled!

Like ancient pyramids? Enjoy stunning visuals? Do you love rolling marbles in either of these two conditions? Well man, do we have a level for you! Brucethejam combines these into a stunning level filled to the brim with danger and fun. Dodge lava pits, solve cunning puzzles, and carefully avoid bottomless chasms in order to reach the top score! Bruce is another of those creators who keeps me perpetually playing Little Big Planet. I was wowed over the Christmas break with his ?ball? level set in the icy domain of penguins and yeti. This time Bruce has moved us from the snow to the desert as we make our way through an obstacle laden labyrinth amid a great pyramid. Your journey will not be an easy task, as you will need a steady hand while guiding your marble with the 6-axis controller. There is danger around every corner, such as lava pools, vanishing platforms, quicksand whirlpools and a host of other obstacles out to impede your progress. As usual, Bruce has done a fantastic job at detailing this level as It's absolutely stunning. Queue this level for some excellent gameplay that is varied, fun and challenging.

http://i5.lbp.me/img/bl/5e59eeefa8757639b2db859cef9394040e850d9e.pngMetall ic platforming: Rechargedmcdonald1967 Metallic platforming is back with a whole new high-tech look. On the plastic format things will change...It's time for platforming to meet the future.

Whoa Ho Ho! Mcdonald1967 is on a platforming frenzy! If you liked his last one then you will absolutely love this creation. I loved the open design and rock solid platforming, not to mention all the different contraptions that kept me grinning like a kid in a candy store. The gameplay involved is well balanced and has several sections where you?ll hold your breath as you're flung from one platform to the next. I watched his platforming skills progressively get better and believe this is the culmination of those efforts. It's going to be hard to top this one Mcdonald, and I can?t wait to see you do it! Queue it up guys, you won?t be disappointedMcDonald1967 strikes again with another superbly designed platformer. He?s opted this time for a slick, high-tech setting and faster paced gameplay with lots of bouncepad action and clever chained platforming. It's all beautifully engineered so if you find yourself whizzing through the air at times, don't panic! You?re in the hands of an expert and you?ll be sent with pinpoint precision to exactly the right place. There are some neat contraptions too and the visuals are just as polished as the gameplay. I agree with Biorogue that this is McDonald1967?s best work yet and it's one of those levels which - when you get your timing right and it all comes together beautifully *cough* - are just tremendously satisfying to play ? an amazing feeling and the sign of a really well crafted level.

http://i9.lbp.me/img/bl/de923a51d9be4d7159929ab27ceed401bd6ff025.pngLBPC6 - Slayer - Part 1 - On Closer ReflectionDav1d0 In a world where legends hide within the shadows, a young girl is suddenly thrown into a world of danger after a dance lesson goes horrible wrong. Created by Dav1d0, Tjaldex225, Evret and DragonHeart12321

Sink your teeth into Slayer, an adventurous four part series. You play the role of an unfortunate young woman who just wanted to learn to dance. Instead you find yourself being thrown into the grips of vampirism when it turns out your dance instructor was simply thirsty. But with this fate it takes time for the disease to take full effect, there is a glimmer of hope for you yet. In a race against the clock you must find your maker and destroy him before the dust settles. It's the only way to stop yourself from becoming just like him. Your condition doesn't leave you completely vulnerable though, the character gains new skills to help platform and fight your way to his lair. It looks great and plays great too with an interesting story to enjoy. If you're looking for a cinematic platformer then look no further.
A four part series with bite! Fantastic set design and camera work are used to make each jump of this platformer all the more exciting as you hurry to beat the sun to try and save your own unlife. Solid logic that adds a layer of varied gameplay as well as some environmental puzzles. The only thing missing is a giant mech that... wait it has one of those too, for some reason. Deadly vampires weren?t enough it seems. Hurl yourself through a flaming window and get to playing this collaboration.

PSP Spotlight

Stone FlowerVelcroJonze/Samiamiamsamhttp://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff393/valmassoilbpc/IMG_5593.jpgPlatform your way through a stoney fortress, and search for secrets of the flowers.

Stone Flower really caught my attention. The Jonze and Samantha combo teems with unique sets of platforming, self-destructing switches, and well-crafted scenery. Definitely an unforgettable level that's not to miss! With help from samantha, another Jonze level rolls out and this is no different to his others - a complete romp of platforming and fun wrapped up in the typical VJ style. Expect to be combo hunting, racing and platforming through some top-notch environments in this thriller!!Samantha is back popping another platforming delight before us! Be ready for another round of fantastic bubble combos, races, and launchers in a new gorgeous stone fortress.
The Night Before X MasCaptain Rule/Captain-Rulehttp://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff393/valmassoilbpc/IMG_5597.jpgTwas the night before X-Mas...

Captain-Rule has really proven himself a "boss" (get it?) with his latest level "Twas the night before xmas." This level truly proves itself a rare gem in this annual period of low level production among the PSP community. When a level has been in the works for over a year, you know either something went horribly wrong, or it's going to blow you away... or in this case, both. Don't overlook this wonderful piece of art; go give it a play now!
It's rare that we get a christmas present this late that isn't socks, but surprisingly this level is not only welcome, but also bears more gifts than you might expect. Beyond the visual beauty of this level lies great gameplay that was worth waiting for. Captain-Rule could easily be replacing Santa next year if his presents are this good; an absolute stocking stuffer!!When Captain-Rule creates a new level is it always reason to head back to the community moon. His latest is another perfect reason why he is still one of my favorite creators. Quirkiness abounds in this one of a kind romp through the Christmas eve sky, as only could be told by El Capitan
Le Fantome de l'OperaVelcrojonze/Velcrojonzehttp://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff393/valmassoilbpc/IMG_5599.jpgParis, 1905. You play as Raul. A man in love with Miss Daae'. Only one thing keeps you from her. Original level design by jkarow24. Thanks to Alismuffin.

A level by VJ never ceases to amaze. Long-missed VJ returns proving that statement with what arguably is his best level yet! Le Fantome de l'Opera oozes a gorgeous french environment and is packed with his always fun signature platforming. Prepare to be blown away.Jonze's latest level has sackboy scrambling though an old fashioned theatre, picking up bubble combos and platforming to safety from the malevolent intentions of Le fantome de l'Opera. Full of remarkable and well-made characters, intriguing platforming sequences, and a mysterious storyline, this level is surely not one to miss.
The Gravity CavesNysudyrgh/Nysudyrghhttp://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff393/valmassoilbpc/IMG_5598.jpgUse a new Power-up to traverse the dangerous gravity Caves. Beware though as you only have one life!

Wow. An incredible level to showcase an incredible gameplay method. Nysudyrgh hit two birds with one stone here. This revolutionary level will leave any player speechless, as well as hitting the replay button to progress farther than before and nab the high score. As little as twice a year or less a level like 'The Gravity Caves' is released. A level that defies the laws of physics and leaves you absolutely perplexed how they pulled it off, in a good way. Nysudyrgh has created a one of a kind concept that any PSP fan must play.Power-ups in lbp psp are very limited. We have the jet-pack, and that is pretty much as far as it goes. Gravity tweakers are also unheard of. After playing Nysudyrgh's Gravity Caves last week I was shocked to see what he had created with the psp's very limited toolset. I have know idea how he made this showcase level, but I will have fun trying.

Also from the Showcase...
Played everything in the PSP Spotlight and still looking for more?
These levels stand out from the crowd for a variety of reasons, so be sure to check them out!

Like racers? You'll love Green Dino Bone's unique concept called Sack Racing Championship (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=66463-Sack-Racing-Championship).

Oh wow, time just flew by. Can't believe its already time for another spotlight.

I've played a lot of these great levels. And have most of the others queued already.

Thanks to the spotlight crew, and thanks to the creators for putting all the hard work into your level and sharing with us.

(Oh, and thanks for the nod for my Dream Catcher trailer. Very nice of you all.).

A wonderful episode, as ever. Huge congratulations to every single creator featured this episode, whether a full spotlight or a nod, it takes a lot to please these guys

As for the crew:

You guys put in more work behind the scenes than anyone who hasn't done this will ever understand. Just want to say that your unending efforts to give exposure to those who deserve it does not go unnoticed - you're an asset to this site, and this community as a whole. Thank you.

Aaaw, Ria! That's so sweet of you1 What also needs to be said, though, is how much hard work you put into the new Spotlight Hub. I don't think it would ever have got off the ground without your energy, enthusiasm and talent for creating something stylish that we're proud to have represent the Spotlight and this site!

Anyway, huge congratulations to everyone who got Spotlighted this week. We couldn't believe it as level after awesome level got published in the Showcase and the Spotlight just grew and grew. It's great to think that a whole year after LBP2 was launched, levels of this quality are still being produced and new creators are coming along to rival the old brigade!

Thanks to everyone in the Crew. You guys are amazing and a blast to work with too!

Wow - incredible! I'm TOTALLY humbled to be part of this spotlight. I've played most of these levels, and the quality of these levels is THROUGH THE ROOF!

The level kind of reminds me of an old game by the name of Earth 2500?hmm
So.... I may quite possibly be the first person to create an LBP2 version of their OWN 25 year old classic game... which itself was a knock off of OTHER classic arcade games... Yes, you are correct - I've been wanting to do a remake of Earth 2500 ever since I saw what LBP2 could do. But Earth was MUCH harder.

Thanks guys, it's an honor to be mentioned with so many quality levels. Just played Skunk Factory 3 a bit ago through the hub, and I'm humbled even further!

Absolutely love it, especially this area:

So now those worthy of a honourable mention are included. I kept jumping up and down on the button just to see how random it was before playing one.

Came across this little random beauty too:

Glad you like the Nod-inator, I know that the team were worried about the honorable mentions, and we wanted to make sure that they were recognised, but also portrayed differently than Spotlighted levels.

It should be pretty random (I hope) I spent a lot of time setting up the emit logic. It's great that people think it has a bit of a risky vibe as it sets fire to the wall. I'm glad that it's also fun to use. Ria did a great job of integrating it into the main Hub area too!

The LBPCentralHub account is getting a lot of traffic and comments, however, most are Mm related suggestions about level packs and game feature requests... Not much we can do about that! So any suggestions about what you would like the account to represent about LBPC are welcome.

Wow, thank you so much for nominating The Javelin Circuit!! As a creator passionate about my craft, I have to ask, what is it that's holding it back from being fully spotlighted? Do I need more innovation, better visuals, more complex logic, etc.? Is there anything I can do to get The Javelin Circuit spotlighted in the future, or is this as far as it'll ever go and I just need to keep pumping new stuff out? I much appreciate your advice! <3

Congratulations everyone!!!

I left feedback on my impressions of the level in the showcase thread. I really liked the start and the theme, but had a lot of trouble with the main game mechanics, feeling that they were just not fully polished. The spotlight crew play the new levels that are posted each fortnight, so revisiting a level is unlikely, some people re-post a thread which is a little naughty, and most of the crew have good memories so will see if a level pops up again and skip it. So I'm sorry to say, it cant really be spotlighted again.

But participate in F4F and polish up the mechanics, if in the future you make a second part that plays better it may have a chance.

Hi Mr_Fusion, thanks for the info! I wasn't sure how it worked. I know it's too late to be spotlighted, but I do hope you'll revisit The Javelin Circuit at least for yourself. I did address the issues you brought up by changing the cameras and adding a new checkpoint at a key location. What you had an issue with was right at the circuit's beginning, but the style of gameplay and environments change quite dramatically many, many times as you go along. I'd hate for you to miss out on all the cool stuff that happens later on (not to mention the extra bonus rooms off the beaten path) and I'd love to hear what you think of the rest of it. 2012-02-07 22:11:00

Hmmm I play your levels a lot but I go back to you planet and you delete them. They need to be there for a full spotlight cycle for starters

The shots I have seen for your next level look amazing I hope to play it soon, but don't rush! There is a lot of cool levels out there, and I think people publish too soon a lot of times because they get so excited.

Yes that's very true. Can be annoying when people do that. For example I hearted a creator, they had a very unique level now when I go back there isn't a single level there so it looks like I have hearted someone for no reason. As for not rushing, yes I fully agree, never publish until it's been polished up (test test & test again for errors, glitches, so it's problem free as you can make it) & you're happy with it as it can make a diffeence between a yay, boo or no rating at all. Minor things can alway be after and republished as long as it isn't game breaking.

Anyway enough of me going on, I actually came here to say that I have this in my queue.

Thanks but yes it will be a while till that level is out. I am trying to tie in the 2 seasons for gameplay with each other so it will be a while. not to mention I am working on other levels as well.
