Emitter 'capture object' not working

For some reason this feature isn't working. When I choose to capture the object I want to emit, and then place it where I want it omitted, it doesn't work. The object doesn't appear in the little circle in the emitter settings indicating the object being omitted. Yep the most recent patch (1.10) broke dynamic editing with emitters. Try capturing the object in your popit, then selecting the object you wish to emit through that. You can't edit the object dynamically so if you need to make any alterations you'll need to do so, resave in your popit then update the emitter... update: i was able to do partially what i wanted. i selected the object i wanted the emmiter to emmit, the object has a chip on it with a material tweaker, a tag, and 2 other stuff that are attached to sensors. now the emmited copies have identical material tweaker properties, and identical tag (i'm not 100% sure about the tag, actually), but the other stuff (for example, i got a stuff in the chip that is activated by a switch, once the switch is activated, the object is set on fire) will not work on the copies, only on the original object. | 2012-02-14 04:36:00 Author: yodavid Posts: 50 |
