LBN Picks HUB 1
Archive: 18 posts
Hello all! Our first level hub showcasing 6 levels we felt like deserved more attention. And the best part is that the level will be placed into the in-games news by spaff! Go check it out and all the levels contained within. This will be a monthly pick so keep advertising and maybe your level will make it in the next one. Here is the link: New link: http://lbp.me/v/9z7kfp | 2012-02-02 15:34:00 Author: shookie99 Posts: 447 |
I can't believe it's already got a bad comment on it, when it's actually trying to do something good. Oh well nevermind, it's in my queue. | 2012-02-02 16:49:00 Author: LittleBigDes Posts: 920 |
Yeah he said we ripped off littlebigpicks, when in fact the whole thing is spaffs idea! | 2012-02-02 16:52:00 Author: shookie99 Posts: 447 |

Great job on the Hub, but when I played most of the levels were locked... Did something go wrong? | 2012-02-02 21:44:00 Author: grayspence Posts: 1990 |
Its a glitch that happens to some and not others. Just pop and they will unlock. Oh thanks btw. | 2012-02-02 22:58:00 Author: shookie99 Posts: 447 |
Alrighty! I will replay this when I have a chance | 2012-02-02 23:28:00 Author: grayspence Posts: 1990 |
Its a glitch that happens to some and not others. Just pop and they will unlock. Oh thanks btw. Yes this is something Mm need to patch. However, other then forcing a player to pop (that's if a player is even aware that they need to do this) there is another way round, found out by Ostler5000. Basically set up an emitter to emit a new level link. So if a level link locks you can place a button next to it which the player can press. This triggers a new level link to be emitted in place and the old one to destroy. You should do this for all level links so a player isn't caught out by this problem. | 2012-02-03 00:22:00 Author: LittleBigDes Posts: 920 |
^This doesn't always work either. I reckon hooking the button to a giant foot that crushes you may be better I'll be sure to jump on and support this, it really looks great. | 2012-02-03 06:29:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
Just wondering howcome the HUB is under the person called 'b-coli' and not a new account called LBN Picks? This would reinforce the LBN brand & seems more official. | 2012-02-03 10:54:00 Author: LittleBigDes Posts: 920 |
This seems like a really cool idea ima try it | 2012-02-04 14:42:00 Author: Unknown User |
Youve got a collection of quality levels here. Really enjoyed playing through some of them. great picks! | 2012-02-04 15:09:00 Author: grayspence Posts: 1990 |
@littlebigdes, b-coli is one of our admins. He has direct contact with spaff and a lot of room on his earth. We will probably make an official account soon. Thanks for the feedback, not sure why spaff hasn't posted it in the in game news, especially since the lbpc spotlight comes out tomorrow. | 2012-02-04 15:43:00 Author: shookie99 Posts: 447 |

This level has been deleted temporarily until spaff can post it in the news. I will update with a new link. | 2012-02-04 22:39:00 Author: shookie99 Posts: 447 |
well I finally got to see the hub last night. Great work on it. I really like the way it looks. very cool and all great levels. I don't see what the point in deleting it until the news feed comes out is though. What's the point in that? | 2012-02-04 23:28:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
I think it has something to do with the News page feature dates of both our spotlight and LBN's spotlight. Not entirely sure, but I assume thats why theyre momentarily taking it down. Shame that you have to though! | 2012-02-04 23:36:00 Author: grayspence Posts: 1990 |
