Hi! ^__^ As I mentioned in LBPC6 thread, I want to speak a bit about the future of the Contest Crew. I always believed in respect and honesty and I don't like to keep people unaware of what is going to happen. Though I won't reply to any specific question about what I'm going to say. So please respect my request. The Contest Crew and other guys of the various fansites (StevenI, EnochRoot, bagheadinc, Leklack) realized that there have been to many contests going around at the same time, and this, at the end of the day is detrimental to the community, to the quality of the contests level and to the work of the various fansites. We're not waging war to each other and want to help the community to grow. So we will co-ordinate better with the other fan sites to have a more rational release schedule and not stuff 7 contests in 2 months like we unfortunately did lately. This would mean more than one month for each contest or some 15-30 days of stop. Rest assured, you have my own word, that the Contest Crew is strong as ever and LBPC8 will be announced in March. And more awesome things will come from us and the other fan-sites. You will be able to pick monthly from 2 contests. Promise. So if something slows down, you know the reason in advance, and I hope this will avoid dramas, cries and stuff. Thanks for the endless support

I wouldn't see an issue if there were fewer contests on a certain month... In fact, what would be wrong with only one running at a specific month or so throughout all the LBP fansites? If needed, you could have a bit of an overlap. This way you could all have a bit more of a break as well as all highlight each others contests. Basically rotate the contests through the fansites with a master schedule posted on each site. I like what you are doing and commend you for not diluting craft world with way too many contests at the same time. I was just thinking that you could even pull back a bit more so each site had a chance for even more entries, including getting support from all the other sites. Regardless, coming up with a master calendar of contests would be pretty cool to help showcase all the sites and helping them get more entries and awareness of each contest. That way an interested creator could better plan ahead for when they had the time. Especially the more themed contests like we are doing here on LBPC. Keep up the great work!

I agree with ya Jdubs. The only problem I would have with a contest rotation schedule, is yes, you'd get more entries and no! you'd get more entries. I would like a shot at winning a site pin, I really would. That is my goal. I stink at creating, but I'm working on it. If I enter a contest where there's 100 entries, there's no way in blue blazes I'm coming anywhere in the vicinity of a 1st place trophy, but if I enter a contest where there are say 30-50 entries, then maybe, just maybe I might have a slight chance of making the finals...maybe. As long as some of the top dawgs take a break from the contest scene. But the way it is, with a slight overlap in contest or just a small window in between, some creators will be busy with a different contest so I can enter another one and maybe do well in it. Anyway, just my selfish reasoning.

LOL!! ...well, yeah there is that I suppose. I guess I never thought of it that way because I've never entered one. ..I'll just be quiet and maybe you will get lucky.

2 VERY important piece of news First, Contest number 8 will take place in April, we'll skip a month to have other fansites the chance to release their ones and not stuff the Community with too many contests at the same time Second, as you can read here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=68155-LBPC-Crown-Contest-6-The-Results&p=983451&viewfull=1#post983451), we will give LBPC pins to the 2nd and 3rd place of LBPC6
