I've been hearing varying opinions on whether or not I need to Move to get the stuff in the Move Pack levels. Am I still able to join someone who has Move, and get the stuff? PLEASE BE REALLY BLUNT, FOR I AM SO CONFUSED XD Cheers, flyinhawaiian

You need the move to progress through the levels. I doubt you'd get very far if you tried playing the move levels with a controller.

You can join someone else in the Level and collect the prize bubbles, yes. You'd need them on your friends list, though, because you can't load up the Pack Earth without a Move being connected to your console. However, if you can find someone willing to drag you through the levels, you could still get all the collectables.

When you buy the pack: You can access the new Move-related tutorials (in the tutorials section) and prizes therein with or without a Move controller. You cannot access the levels in the pack yourself unless you own a Move controller. If a friend owns the Move pack and a Move controller you can join them and play the levels together even if you don't own a Move yourself. In other words only the current host of the game needs to have Move to be able to access the levels. If you're playing by yourself you are the host of your own game, if you join a friend they are the host of their game. That's not accurate in reality but it's clear, I hope. grayspence was the only one who wrote that this had been patched and all players need a Move controller in your other thread. Nobody has confirmed or denied this yet, but I joined a friend relatively recently and played through the levels with them despite me not owning a Move.

I did not read anything of this apparently being patched. I'd wait for confirmation before picking up the pack, flyinhawaiian. Assuming nobody beats me to it, I'll try tonight and see if I can get in the pack levels with a friend without having my Move switched on.

It seems ive started some confusion here. I bought the pack a week ago and it wouldnt let my into the level pack if someone in my game didnt have the move. I didnt even have it myself untill later that day when I went out and bought the bundle. Not sure if theyve patched this for the better or worse yet, but I can confirm that it didnt. From another post (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=63234-Move-Pack-FAQ-Out-now!)... Can I play the new Story Levels on my own without a Move controller? Sadly not. Your only option is to join a game being hosted by someone who does have one. N.B. In order for this to work, the host must select the LittleBigPlanet?2: Move Pack photo from the More Stories menu, so the screen with all the Move Pack level patches is visible, before inviting anyone who doesn't have a Move controller, otherwise they won't be able to get to that screen.
