Should I Get the Move Pack?

Archive: 17 posts

Hey all. I have decided I am really missing out, and am considering getting the move pack, for it's variation of decorations, stickers, and STICKER PANEL! But I don't have a Move. Is anyone still playing move pack/doing the help others who don't thing?

Also, I posted this here, because it's both Help, and Find Other Gadders (the finding people who might help part )

Thanks for all help you might provide!

Cheers, flyinhawaiian

dude, get the move pack. and go ahead and shop around and get the Move as well. You should be able to pick them up pretty reasonably priced. I think it's well worth it.2012-01-30 15:35:00

Without the move connected to your PS3, it will not let you play the levels, and render the content useless, it even disables it if your with a person with the move. and Im being serious here, it wont let you open the pack without it connected.

So, dont buy it untill you have to move

BUT, its one of the best DLC packs out there, and the levels are my favourites. The sticker panel material is one of the most useful tools ever developed for LBP, so I highly suggest picking it up if you can manage to get a Move controller.

You can get the sticker panel material from the Move pack without owning a Move controller by playing through the new tutorials that will open up for you.

To play the levels in the pack you can join a friend who has a Move controller and the pack to get the prizes that way. You could also copy this level: http://lbp.me/v/6ekbzk

If you have the Move, and you like creating, it's a no-brainer. I would definitely get the Move pack. If you don't have a Move, either find a friend or just get one yourself. If you want to utilize LBP2 to it's fullest I would recommend getting one. They're getting cheaper too.2012-01-30 17:08:00

Well, you can use the level the others mentioned, but the problem is that you wont be able to play the levels unless you have a move connected to your PS3. it literally wont let you acess the level page if you dont have it. And it doesnt work with friends unless EVERYONE in your session has one connected.

I was going to say buy it and go with a friend with a Move, but according to the other posts I'm not sure whether that works anymore...

Definitely get it though. There's a TON of stuff you can do with it.

Ok, so, to clarify, do I myself have to have the Move to play the level/get any of the stuff? OR CAN I play with a friend who has Move, and just do whatever?2012-01-31 16:58:00

I don't own a Move and I joined a friend only a few weeks ago who does and we played through all the levels together. I think only the host needs to have a Move controller.

I can't confirm whether this is still the case unfortunately since I don't intend to update LBP for a while.

I believe this is the case, as when the Move pack first came out I was looking for people to be kind enough to walk me through, in addition to many others looking to do the same.

I still haven't gotten the Move pack and now the Muppets have come out and... *sigh*

Unless you really want the Move, including for other games, i would advice against it, SONY really seems to just have cut Move off, and really.
Basically, consider the cost, and think whether the price is worth what you're going to use it for.

All of the players in the session need a move in order to access the pack, buut if one of our friends has one of the move levels listed in their recent activity page or in their hearted levels, you can just select that level and BOOM, your in the level page for the move pack. Then add whatever level is available at the moment to your hearted levels, and you'll be able to access the move levels whenever you want, for when, I don't know, a friend with a move joins you.

EDIT: Oops, I didn't read the post above, so I guess this is useless now.
