Archive: 5 posts

So i know there is a dissolve material, but i was wondering if I could make a car dissolve when it crashes for example?

Thanks

Attach a destroyer to the car and activate it when you 'crash', however that happens.

There are a variety of options to choose from for the destroyer. These include dissolve, fall apart, splat, and explode, to name a few.

Some simple fiddling with all the other options will give you a good idea of how it works. You can also check the wiki for more information about the destroyer logic tool (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Destroyer).

Ah, ok thanks. It was acctually a motorcyle but lets say car for simplicity. Well it didnt really work out, cuz the "car" was a custom object so i guess there were many parts so only the one it was directly attched to would dissovle.

Oh well, thanks anyways!

There is an option on the destroyer tag to destroy all attached objects. So, anything connected to the piece with the destroyer on it will explode, dissolve, etc. Just select "yes" on that section.

You could also use multiple destroyers if the pieces aren't connect by glue. Eg: If you use rods or pistons to connect the wheels.

Just connect the crash trigger to every destroyer you use, and be sure to edit the destroyer to 'include rigid connections'.
