Sound effects stop working

| Odd problem, but the sound effects in my level have all stopped working, up to a certain point. If I remove and replace it, it will not make a sound, whether they are triggered by a switch or proximity. Later in the level, sound effects are still working, but everything before the halfway mark just doesn't do anything anymore. Sometimes when I disconnect a sound effect from a switch, and set it to prox, it will trigger in pause mode, but once I go live again it doesn't work. I did just recently add a machine that used about 50% of my thermo, and I'm wondering if I'm just exceeding some kind of memory allocation (in total it has around 650 magnetic keys and 80 magnetic switches, plus alot of wheels). Sound very impressive I'm sure it or something like it has been done before, but it's still a very fun machine - a path-programmable death trap. I'm going to release a set of challenge levels with it when I'm done this one, so I won't say too much.
