For a while I've been wanting to do an Alice's Adventures in Wonderland-inspired level... and I've also wanted to make a series of levels. And maybe if I make a thread about it, I'll have a reason to keep working on it, since it will probably take a whle (and because I never finish anything ever, ever). It's a co-creation between me and a friend. Wahey! Basically it's Wonderland... thirty-something years in the future. In the process of capturing by bandits, and under the test of time... it's slowly becoming decrepit, and it's starting to lose that "new country" smell. The main aim of the level is to claim Wonderland for your "team", helping Alice to refurbish the place and make it all nicey-nicey again... all against the Queen of Hearts and the Bandits (working as two respective teams). Basically a lovely, mysterious territorial war <3 There's going to be about 6 chapters... all I can really say is that you start off in a haggard, poisonous cake factory and everything goes kinda catastrophic for Alice after that. I just want some opinions on this: sackbots or "material" characters? Sackbots have a lot more leeway, with being able to record them and stuff... but the characters made from cardboard look a ton nicer. If I were to do this, hopefully Alice will look like this (pardon my scruffy drawing ) http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2012/031/a/2/alice_by_breezy_the_pro-d4o7ad5.png KINDA like that. I'll probably be doing the rest of the characters in the same odd manner. Thoughts?
