WarioWare Inc: LBPed

I'm sure explaining this normally would be boring, so I'll just explain it as if I were Wario.

Wahaha! It's-a-me! Wario!

I've gotten a hold of Little... Big... whatever, and I've decided I should start making microgames here! This could be my next ticket to riches!!!

So I've got 15 microgames here, plus there should be something different about them every time. Here's a bunch of them:

Gap Man

What? A big gap? No problem! I can jump over it without a problem! ... if I time my jump right. Press X to jump.

Crazy Car Patrol

I'm on patrol duty to make sure those crazy cars don't get passed this giant boot I'm in control of! Those Fronks are allowed by, so I better let them in and not crush them!

WAAH! Where'd you come from? You're not getting by me! I better crush him, or else he could quite possibly burn the whole place down! I hope I don't screw up any of this, or I'll lose my head for sure! Move the left stick up and down to move the boot.

Golf Ball Wario

I guess I'm a golf ball, not sure what to say about that, but I sure wanna get to that tin can! Who knows what's in there? Roll the stage around with the left stick so I can check out the can!

Wario: Defender of the Earth

What? Giant red space arrows trying to destroy the earth! I like this place because it has money there, so I better do something about this. I'll get my super space shield to deflect these arrows! I'm sure I'll get lots of money for saving the world! I better not fail, or else it looks like it's it for all of us... Use the left stick to rotate Wario.

Tray Trouble

What? First a golf ball, now a burger? What a day. Anyway, who eats a burger with a fork?! Whoever it is, I better slide the tray so I can avoid the fork and not be eaten alive! Use the left stick to slide the tray.

Save me Sack... whatever!

That's the last time I go skydiving, because those guys didn't bother to give me a parachute! Hey Sack... thingamabob, catch me! You're my only hope, you have those cool grabby gloves! Also if you DO catch me, please don't drop me!

Road Substitute

Uh oh, looks like the road's broken. Since I've apparently grown my arm to 10 times it's size, may as well help some cars get to the other side. Who knows who's trying to get across? I better not either flip them over or crush them, who knows what that'll do to my reputation? Use the left stick left and right to move Wario's arm.

Rocky River Rescue

Waah! Jumping off that tour boat was a really bad idea! Now I'm stuck in this current and I'm about to go off a waterfall! Use that somehow moving rock to stop me from falling to my doom!



There's even more microgames that you'll just have to see for yourself. Get as high of a score as you can! The game just goes on and on until you lose all four of your lives. Also, scoring points wins you souvenirs once you're done!

Look at how happy that sack guy is with his new stickers. That could be you too, but you gotta play! Now go play, and make me some mone... I mean... uhh... er.... ... have fun!

I actually posted this in Recommendations a little while ago, so I don't know what should be done with that (if anything). It's quite a fun level, with cool stickers as incentives to get better and great attention to detail and good microgame recreations. I really enjoyed it!2012-01-25 21:07:00

Man, these kinds of levels are so addicting. I love it! I think I'll find myself playing this level about 10 or more times before someone else tells me it's enough.

I am a HUGE Nintendo fan so I had to check this one out and I will say that it is a pretty fun little level.

VISUALS:
The visuals are pretty decent, but some of the microgames look better than others and I wish the look was more consistent. In the end, the visuals are not the main draw of a level like this, but you do a pretty good job of making it look good. I also like the artificial screen, that's a nice touch.

GAMEPLAY:
The gameplay is exactly what you would expect from a WarioWare game. Some of the controls are a little more loose than what is on Nintendo's game, but that isn't your fault. It is pretty much just the LBP physics that cause that feeling of looseness. I think you did a good job in capturing the feel of WarioWare despite the looseness feeling that LBP controls provides.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Like I said before I am a HUGE Nintendo fan and I love the WarioWare games. I think you did a good job in bringing the fun and addictive essence of WarioWare to life in LBP. I do wish that there were more microgames (I see you just added 2 more so I'll have to check those out) because the level does go by a bit quick.
