Paintinator harmful to Sackboy Option and separate spawn points for Sackboy's

I think it would be great if when you shoot another Sackboy it would kill them.
I think it should be a tweak on the paintinator like.....
HARMFUL TO SACKBOY - ON/OFF.
To take it further you could have a tweak of how many hits a sackboy would need to take to die and you could have sackboy life meters either above each sacks head or in a HUD at the top of the screen ?????????
You could make deathmatch type mini games

Also while I'm at it. I think there should be Player 1/Player 2........ Start spawn points that only certain players spawn out of so each player has their own set of lives. This would be good for mini games. For example you could have all 4 players spawn in a different corner of the screen. When each player dies they would respawn from their specific spawn point until they run out of lives.

It could be a tweak on the Start points/checkpoints like......
PLAYER - (which would cycle through) ALL/1/2/3/4

Multiple checkpoints and dying sacks from guns?

Just think it would make it easier to make mini games where people compete (yes I said compete MM, not this coopertion stuff lol)

I don't like the idea of the killing other Sack people. Because it just adds to the annoyance and nuisance.

But the checkpoint idea, now that's genius!

As Whaaaaale just highlighted, this could be a very annoying feature indeed. I can see bad level designers enabling it, thinking it "funny" and "cute" when it just wastes check point lives and makes the level unplayable.

Some sort of vs. shooting game I think would have very little potential, to be honest. It's kind of hard to avoid bullets, and people would be just spraying them everywhere.

Even if you limit the number of shots, well, I still can see a very limited and ultimately fruitless playing experience. If you want a shooter, try a FPS. :S

Depends on how good your are at designing the situation they fight in

But I do see you point that some would not use it appropriately and could get annoying. But that's the same with a lot of things (RAMP )

Had an idea (may be a cool game if you want to make it). If you want to have the Paintinator destroy other other players:

1. Create a small square object which contains explosive material inside.
2. Put an invisible paintinator switch on the top of the square object with 1 hit.
3. Connect the switch to the explosive material
4. Use the square object for the sack people to walk on. You can now blow up a fellow player by shooting the ground underneath them.
5. (optional if you want the ground to not disappear). Have an emitter recreate the object after is blows up.

Probably a good idea to have endless lives. It would be interesting to see if Media Molecule actually WANTS deathmatches in their game.
