The first half of the series is really epic. The levels has great visuals and gameplay that will leave players' jaws dropped. The first part has great multi-path platforming gameplay that has nifty obstacles and funny storytelling. Part 2 features some really creative use of grappling hook and grabinators, really cool looking boulders, and brilliantly effective collapsing obstacles. The custom musics of part 1 and 2 sounded great, too. Great job on the series, even though I only played the first half of them today. I queued part 3 and 4 so I'll be ready to play them the next time I play LBP2 online, and I'll leave a feedback of them in Alley_Cat_8633's thread. Good luck on the contest.
VISUALS: 5/5
SOUND: 5/5
GAMEPLAY: 5/5
OVERALL: A yay and heart on part 1 and 2, and a positive review on part 2.

You crammed so much into this one! Great gameplay and great level. Also, using the word 'Parlay' in the series title was a very clever little reference to the competition btw.2012-01-24 16:56:00

I really love this level.

Really.

I felt like I was accomplishing something interesting all the way through. The boulder-chases were a great thrill ride. I loved the different puzzle sections also.

This one really demands multiple plays. The first time to get used to everything, and the second to blast through. I think you and the other guys have done a terrific job of meeting the requirements of the contest, and so much more. There are segments of this series that I will remember for a long time to come.

This was an amazing level. This was put together very well and I like the pace. The visuals are fantastic and just add to the mood! This is a well polished level that feels like MM made it and the other contestants better bring their A game because this is top notch quality! The only part that bothered me (and it bothered me many times because I died many times) was that the camera cutscene to show the oncoming boulder wasn't skippable. After 4 or 5 times dying, the camera cutscene started to frustrate me because it I definitely knew where the boulder was coming from by my 5th death I'll tell ya that.

Overall I think this level is pretty close to flawless and for that it gets 4.5 stars from me.

Fantastic Job and Good luck!

Thanks guys for playing! Glad you all enjoyed it. 2.5 months of working on it paid off I guess

@Julesy: XD so you caught the reference. Nice! lol

@CCubbage: I wonder did you find all the secret points There are 8 hidden point bubbles worth 1000 points. High score is possible in te 20k area

@xiSiCx: Yea I know what you mean about the cam but I have to protect it against multiplayer and emitters. If you were playing in a team and they dropped down late then they could be behind the ball and then you cant go anywhere and I would have pics saying it broke lol. Also stuff has to be emitted off screen so I dont want the player to see that XD. So yea it was about protecting it against glitches and lolz pics

Awesome level in an awesome series.

Really liked the style of the visuals. Fantastic lighting. Enjoyable gameplay. Loved how you always manage to hide your puzzles and obstacles in natural looking scenery.

The boulder-action in the second part of the level is really clever and original. And fun. I like how you guys keep pushin the platforming-gameplay mechanics of LBP in new directions.
There are some 'wow' action mechanics in this level, like being flipped up by the boulder etc.

Really, really enjoyed myself with these levels.
Thanks for another great level series, guys!

Thanks for playing! That was one of our goals was to push new ideas in our levels. The boulder areas was the 1st things that were coming to my mind that I wanted to do in the level. Wanted it to be a fun mechanic and glad to hear that it was! Big thanks to my teammates for making those areas work like they should. Couldn't have did it without them.2012-01-25 12:48:00

Horrible level.

Levels shouldn't offer original gameplay and puzzles that make you actually think.

Oh, and the environment gets destroyed, and when I die it actually resets itself?! Totally unrealistic and the sign of a Noob creator.

And what's with the original, intricate, custom music? LBP has tracks already made for us. Could have just slapped Sleepy Head on this sucker and been done!

And the level design. Way over the top. The creator obviously doesn't understand that a level doesn't need to be epic. Great would have been good enough.

So, I definitely would not recommend this level. Unless you actually enjoy original stories with puzzle elements that don't spoon feed you every answer, original music, and dynamic environments with engaging gameplay - then yeah, sure, you might get some enjoyment and should give this level a shot.

You know, Mr. mare, I'm a bit offended. Here Cymbol is giving you good advice on how to be LittleBigSuccessful, and you're making l1ght of his comments. How do you expect to win this contest without slowing down a few rocks?

Also, you would get much higher ratings on Cyberstrata if you include unlimited lives.

Back on topic, its not very often I do this, but I'm going to play through the whole series again tonight... Seriously good stuff.

I only go for high scores on levels with 50 or less plays. I hate competition.

dang LM, you've gone and done it again. This was a breathtaking romp through some ingenious platforming. I loved every step I took, even that dang ball that was chasing me through half the level. Loved the little humor spots in here as well. Brilliant job.2012-01-27 15:25:00

I remember messaging you about how I can't wait to see the finished product. After reading all these raving reviews, I think I might pass because the reviews only make this game absolutely amazing sounding. I only play levels that are deemed epic by chuck norris himself , but fortunately for you I will go against my own will and character and give these 4 levels a go. 2012-01-28 02:39:00
