this is using custom ps3 firmware, this wont work (yet) with official firmware Ok, but the important thing for me is that it definitely works (very good) and is not a shallow promise. For me this is the most important Vita feature at the moment. I made some math... Average PS3 games have a 1280x780 pixel resolution PS Vita has a 960x544 pixel resolution So clearly Vita has lower resolution than a PS3 BUT... the screen of the Vita is 5" meaning that your eyes see resolution is 192 dots per inch. The average screen to which a PS3 is connected is around 23" The 1280x780 pixel output by a PS3 on a 23" screen are only 55.65 dots per inch, so the perceived resolution of a PS Vita is bigger than the one of a PS3 even if the resolution is downscaled, meaning that the game on Vita looks better than the one on PS3 (even if some details are missing) To have a similar perception of a game on a PS3 it should be played on a 7" screen...so...that's too cool.

I hope they make an update on PS3 that will allow you to remote play any PS3 game to a vita. Skyrim on the vita would be awesome.

Well, sort of. In remote play you hook up the PS3 to the PSVita and through the vita you see the XMB, all that stuff. Hooowever, you can't actually play games and stuff on it right now. On the PSP very few games actually allowed it but on the Vita I believe they're trying to make it better and allow most games eventually. We'll have to see, but as of right now it's a pretty dull feature. Lots of potential though, which is important.
