The Nautilus Submarine

Archive: 7 posts

I just created the level, it s a classic platform but into a legend, the Nautilus from Disney. Well it's short, I know but you will have fun and you might learn few things about the author's world. Also there is few travels behind the Nautilus, link to The Mysterious Island, A journey to the Center of the Earth, and 20 000 leagues under the sea.

Hi waihekeboy, let me offer a few suggestions.

1. Please don't double post, edit your first post to include the link
2. please include a level LBP.me url. yours for this level is: http://lbp.me/v/9bb006 (http://lbp.me/v/9bb006)
also, you can use the LBP.me tool (the little blue box with a white bell) click on it and it will make this code in your thread :
*** where the *** is, paste your level URL in that place. when you post, your level badge and description will be automatically placed into the thread. Pretty dang neat hunh?
3. you can put pictures directly into the thread by clicking on the insert picture tool (the icon between the earth and filmstrip up there on the toolbar, it looks like a tree in a picture frame) click it, paste your image location in that box and click "OK" and your picture will be in the thread like this:

4. Please come by the "Introduce yourselves" thread and introduce yourself to the site.

Its a big site

But check out the stickies at the top of this showcase thread

https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=7962-Feedback-For-Feedback

These will help you with getting you level posts looking great, and help you find a great way to participate in the community, by leaving feedback on other people's levels.

I played through your level and I can see what you are trying to do, and I think if pair back to the for concept you will have a fun stage on your hands. the first obstacle is very annoying as there is no warning that you will be crushed, or that there is even a crusher there.

Dragging the block is fine but as you progress I really feel like you missed an opportunity, of like having to switch some levers press some buttons, each one getting the Nautilus ready to dive. Like closing a hatch starting the pumps etc.

The helmet is a good idea, but again seems a little underused. Staying on theme the ship begins to dive uncontrollably and you need to jump through an environment to shoot gears to stop this, and then the ship starts to fill with water so you need to climb up further, a promising concept you have, that just needs a little more polishing.

yeah Mr_Fusion. I really appreciate your point of view and I see easily how so good it could be ...sinking the Nautilus,by sackboy's mistake surely. I m gonna fix the crushing stage with the radio quickly, maybe with on easier passage by the top...I can handle it, but to make things moving, water coming and animations... help will not be refused. Maybe I should post an ad
