Another Tower Defence??

Hey guys!

How have you been doing? First of all, I'd like to say a Happy New Year (though I think its a li'l late since half of January has already past...)! Anyway, if you haven't noticed I haven't been on LBPC since, uh... I don't know, 2 to 4 months, maybe? I apologize for the absence, I was really busy on other things, and living my other life . So, let's get this show on the road!

The project I'm showcasing this time is a tower defence. I know. There are a good plenty of tower defences in LBP2 already. But, however, I don't feel any of them very addictive, which got me bored. So, I tried coming up with my own tower defence, and right now it's got about over 30 rounds! So this has the same old features like any other tower defence: towers(duh), plenty of enemies, selling, support items, and of course; the big slow very hard to kill enemies! There is however, no upgrades at the moment, and I don't plan on making any in the future. Maybe some other time . The game currently has 7 towers, 2 support items, and a pretty unique game ender if you will. There's one track at the moment, but if I can, I'll put more tracks depending on how much of the thermo I have left. And if you're wondering, yes, this level was completely inspired by one of the best tower defences I have ever seen: Bloons Tower Defence 5 ! Lastly, there will be a news board in the level to inform you of all the latest updates crammed into the level. Okay, I've said too much... therefore, I shall put a picture!

Alrighty, that should be enough to sum up my level. Please don't hesitate to post on this thread, maybe post on how you like it, or what I should add for improvement. Anyways, that's all and I'll see you later!

UPDATE: I shall be the one to confirm that there will be more than one map to play on the tower defence. Also, I should hopefully be done before February due to the assignments from school.

I'm also working on some sort of rts/td/shooter....thing. I would offer you my random wave generator if it weren't so complicated . Almost 1/3 of a notch on the thermo.

I too haven't seen an 'awesome' tower defense level yet. I'll be interested in seeing yours when you publish it.

Hmm, that would be cool to have a random wave kind of game mode, now would it? But if it takes 1/3 of the thermo, its best to keep it in your popit. But I like that idea there, it's pretty cool!

Thanks, but my logic is as complicated as it gets. I'm constantly struggling just by trying to make everything work properly! :O
