well bailey, when i started lbp, i hadnt the slightest clue how to build. its an acquired skill. just think of something basic you might want to do and just keep at it. publish it, and later as you gain more skill, odds are is you'll rid of it one day. this is good. it means you've developed to the point where you can see whats wrong and what needs improved. you wont make the cool pages the first time around, but once you do, it'll all be worth it. trust me, as long as you try, it's better than all of the copied levels out there. hoped this helped.

I played this one yesterday and I was unable to finish, but I did like the atmosphere and the visuals were really good. I'm gonna give it another go to see if I can finish this level. It deserves to be finished! Good Job!

Well xiSiCx, first off, im assuming your playing with 2 ppl. From there, once either ten "red shirts" or the doc is dead, the game ends. Btw to anyone in this thread, i'm probably going to republish this lvl, but a different lvl as a whole, not an update. this is so i get a secong try at making the cool pages. the lvl did well but I didnt get the plays I might have hoped. I'm comparing it to "Trapped" my first really big hit.

How many plays do you have to get to make it to the "cool" pages? And how does republishing your level help it get to the "cool" pages? I have been trying to get plays on my level for a couple days now and I've only mustered a lousy 3 new plays since I re-mastered it so any advise about helping me get more plays would be greatly appreciated.

ok, so since lbp has ever come to be sackboys have asked the timeless question: how do i make the cool pages? well, the answer is...............odd. first off, a number of plays arent nessecary to make the cool pages, you can be on it with 50. ive done it before. granted, these lvls ended up with much more before their popularity faded, but thats not the point. the cool pages rank is determined by how QUICKLY you accumulate plays in the first hour. the secret to success for this is to take your friends to your lvl immedialtly after publishing. yays dont hurt at all btw. so anyways, while you may see 600 plays as a alot, a was expecting a lot more given my track record and also considering the work i put into it (work also including the work i did getting ppl to play it right after publishing). and lastly, when i said "republishing", i didnt mean it in the update sense, that doesnt help things at all, being as its the same lvl. i meant putting a whole now pin/badge/lvl and such on my earth and doing the process over again

Yeah, I agree that it's very hard to get on the cool pages. I've been working on a health meter giveaway since LBP2 is out, and I got... 230 plays ! Great, it increased by a lot since V3! You have to do adds on website such as here, doing F4F not H4H, trying to get your friends comments before publishing. But don't expect to get noticed. I am very bad at platforming levels, and it ruined me in LBP1. Now we have logic and controlinators, I'm happy ^^ Ops, sorry I got carried away. Here, I'll queue your level ^^
