Mgs4 Guns of the patriots

Archive: 2 posts

Im working on a multi level mgs4 based community level. Im working on the first level now where you are introduced to the three main parts of these levels. Sneaking, you will need to sneak around some targets, such as gecko, and if not die for it. Attacking, you will need to destroy some enemies and objects before proceiding further , such things will include enemies and even whole buildings at times. And the hardest one for me to do is Vehichle battle bosses ,these will include battles of you shooting from a moving helicopter, using drebins tank thing to shoot gecko while it is moving, and a possibility of a metal gear rex vs ray battle near the end.

Im still working on the first level and in order to utilize all building space i will have helicopters take you from first area to the next which will be up so it will take up alot of space and not waste much.

Any comments, suggestions , or help will be greatly aprecciated.

IM kinda doing the same thing, and I actually have a functional helicopter that you control and navigate though the clouds. up, down, left. right sort of thing. You should do something like that to end and start. like when you leave a level, you fly the heli to a cloud that ends the level, and then the next level start have the heli in the air moving and then land. just an idea. It took a good week to build the helicopter since the back hatch opens up when you get near and then close when your inside. and to get it to function. Also the first level that I'm doing will split in the middle so you kinda choose a path and each patch will go to a different sub-level. just my idea. but you can use it...hope I can inspire.2008-12-30 18:46:00
